OK, I went cheap at first and ordered a different brand that cost half as much, and they wouldn't hold the sling in place without popping off dropping the rifle on the ground. I ordered this item and it's rugged and holds like I hoped it would. Can't see buying any other brand.

Fits my hand guards perfectly. Pairs well with the sling. Almost like it was built for it.

Some people claim they got fakes. Mine came in a magpul original case I had cut open. Doesn’t seem like a piece that would need to be from magpul. If you find one cheaper, get it. I attached mine to a one point sling. I had to attach a QD swivel mount on my buffer tube to accommodate this but it was all straight forward and pretty simple, if you have the proper tools. However, you can mount this in many ways ie; on your butt stock, hand rails, etc. It’s a nice add on if you’re looking to use a sling.

You can’t go wrong buying the Magpul brand. Works flawlessly and you don’t have to worry like you do with those knock-off brands whether your sling will disconnect, causing your rifle to go crashing to the ground.

Yet another worry I had of getting a knockoff because if the reviews I read. I received an original Magpul part in the packaging brand new. Completely satisfied with the product and seller.

Easy to use and has held up so far. I know there are some fakes out there, but I received the real deal. Very happy with it so far.

I have heard that there have been some frauds getting in the pool. Not in this case. Got the real McCoy. This is a MAGPUL item and their reputation precedes them so there really isn't much more to add to that. It is what they say it is and it does what they say it does and that shuts-me-up. Enjoy.
