cool concept, but i prefer a fender close to the wheel.
It's not a bad idea for a fender, especially if you don't want to add a lot of weight, its a very light, almost too flimsy a piece of plastic that mounts to your seat rails, As far as effectiveness (and this is true for all these types of ass-saving fenders) it won't catch as much throw form the wheel as a fender that mounts to the seat post that can get as close to the wheel as possible, whereas these types of fenders are as far away from the wheel as one could get. It'll basically only save your butt crack from looking like you have a big poo skid mark, but not much else. Better to just get a real fender that catches everything from the tire. Also, it makes it harder to mount / dismount form your bike since it's in the way of your leg when throwing it over your bike, and if you like to hang back on the saddle you can't do that with this type of fender. Again, more of a review on the style of fender than this brand in particular.

In expensive, simple and gets the job done
I have them on my mtb, gravel bike and commuter. Protects just enough, if you need more protection get a full set up, but it’s worth the $15-17 to see if it works for you

It works and it stays on
I started seeing pro cyclists using these on rainy race days. I'm sure not a pro, but it is nice to minimize the bacon strip up your back! So I looked into the different brands. It seems like Mucky Nutz and Ass Savers are the two leaders. It also seems that there may be "copy products" out there. I picked the Mucky Nutz since it seemed to have the best mounting system. So far, after multiple rides I am happy with this fender. This version is meant for a "racing" road bike. It is pretty easy to mount and very light weight. Yes - if you don't pay attention when getting on or off your bike you can knock it off. Also, if you leave it on your bike when you aren't present, someone can easily take it. That said, It does what it is supposed to do, it provides some amount of protection at a relatively low cost and low weight.

Little plastic fender
Seems kind of pricey for a flat piece of plastic, which can be easily replicated if someone was incline to do so. Not that I would do anything like that.

Well done.
I'm surprised more people don't have these. It's not 100% coverage - obviously - but it prevents that concentration of spray that soaks through your waist/lower back. Saves quite a bit of laundry when caught in a light rain or wet streets.

So so easy to fit and it works!
Saw a cpl of these being used in a lands end to John I gotta cycle ride last year. At a glance I was sceptical as to their worth! Having watched the riders over 2 weeks and spoke to those with them fitted, they confirmed this addition was invaluable in terms of keeping the wet off “key body areas”! I bought one soon after getting back and have tested it in some of the wettest roads on which I have cycled! It works! I don’t know how it works but it keeps the main throw of water off my backside.Fitted to the seat on a Trek Domane Road Bike.Very very pleased with this product.

Didn't work
Nice idea, but just didn't work. The kids bike used has a seat nearer the rear tyre too, but just wasn't effective.
