I've heard that this can be used in place of cat litter, that it won't go sludgy and can cut down on odour. Has anyone heard of this?

I buy it for my chickens, it would be useless as a cat litter as it’s basically corn and wheat based. I used to use wood pellets as cat litter, no sludge and nice woody smell, clumps well. Hope this helps.
