I hate having to write a bad review but here is the sad truth. I'm having to return this item FOR THE 3RD TIME!! This inverter comes in via freight delivery because of its weight. Its a 2-3 man minimum task to get this thing mounted on the wall so when I say its an absolute nightmare to disconnect and pull off the wall, repack it for return and put a replacement up, nightmare is putting it lightly. Just for the record I'm an electronic engineer with an extensive tech background so what I say next is absolutely backed up by piles of accurate data. The first one we installed we returned within the first week. The BT & WiFi module would not communicate nor would the com cable between the inverter and our battery system. It's critical to have your battery logic communicate with the inverter and it was shot across the board. The second one about 2 weeks in shorted internally and melted an extension cord, blew out a circuit board in our shop overhead propane heater, and fried an inverter/charger in an RV. That was fun. We should have pivoted at that point but went with a 3rd replacement. Just last night before bed on my final rounds checking everything I heard a horrible buzzing coming from the mech room. One of the heat exhaust fans came apart and was laying on one of the transformers inside resulting in immediate shut down and surgery to restore power to the property. Upon patching up the issue so we could limp along until we get another NON-ZLPOWER inverter onsite I noticed several points in the inverter that had missing nuts and bolts, one place where a wire had its coating scraped off exposing the conductor inside. Not only are these units complete junk but with the massive power surge from the second and what could have been an explosion or fire in the 3rd I'm done with ZLPower. There are piles of other issues I could go on for days about, like unstable / fluctuating power output under light to moderate load. Power surges that trip surge protectors when the internal transfer switch flips from battery to shore power. It just goes on and on. So BUYER BE AWARE. I highly recommend finding another inverter and steering clear of this POS. Yeah its a little cheaper but when someone gets hurt, it explodes or starts a fire, docent perform to spec or just flat out dies....it is not worth the few extra bucks saved and makes for a SOB of a return and downtime.

Well mine failed in the first day ... So my update The pickup was mishandled, driver arrived 90 mins before appt and never returned, then lied saying it was MY fault. Took me HOURS and an act of god to get it rescheduled, but it did happen and a refund was promptly applied. That's GOOD.I know not a product issue. The review Upon connection of this inverter (replacement for a nearly identical one) I was VERY PLEASED. Every function responded properly and I was instantly running my castle on batteries, at that time fully charged having been dormant for 10 days. Navigation of the display and settings is cumbersome, EVERY press had to be a 3 sec hold, then a confirm. Instructions left a lot to be desired but I had one so similar I could wing it. Had a defective WiFi communication dongle which I later spent hours in Amazon chat to fix... 5 agents later they still couldn't understand that I needed a new one sent. I gave up. Next morning, at 5:30 am, WiFi was the least of my problems. Apparently, during the night when the battery level triggered transfer to AC it fried. In trying to restart it, it crackled and I disconnected it for return. Got 20 plus hours of battery coverage though, YEAH. Still trying to decide on it's replacement, if they had offered that I would have said yes, but now that I have to order fresh Not sure if I'll get the same ione. There are literally dozens of nearly identical low freq inverters available.
