Fantastic carafe. Keeps coffee fresh and hot for many hours after brewing. I fill this carafe with very hot tap water while I wait for the coffee to brew. This gets the interior of the carafe hot beforehand, keeping the coffee hot even longer. I love this. Holds 12 cups of coffee easily. Super easy to clean, screw on top opens easily which is nice. Pours without a mess.

Performs admirably, as advertised. And at the best price.

Does not keep the water hot. And it leave the water with a weird taste.

The Tomakeit Airpot Coffee Dispenser Thermal with Pump,1.9L/64 Oz Insulated Stainless Steel Large Airpot is a great little airpot. I didn't realize when I made my purchase that it even features a swivel base - that's very handy! If I didn't already have a stainless steel coffee carafe, I would have kept the Tomakeit but I do, so I'm not. I drink about a pot of coffee a day and by late morning I am nuke-ing my coffee to make it hot. I don't like doing that and honestly, I don't think it works all that well. It's as if the reheated coffee is more hot on the outside, than it is on the inside. Freshly brewed coffee seems to be uniformly hot whereas reheated does not. That's why I bought pump carafe - to have hot coffee from breakfast to bed. But my experience was the Tomakeit airpot did not keep my coffee hot all day long. Hot at 4-hours-ish, but not 6 hours and I was back nuke-ing my coffee. I have bought a glass lined, vacuum sealed carafe for my hot coffee addiction and hopefully it will meet my needs. If not, Amazon will be the second to know!

The carafe keeps my coffee warm enough to drink 8 hours later. The lid has a vacuum seal. It is easy to clean & matches my platinum appliances.

At first I loved this carafe. It kept our coffee hot for hours. We just set it on the dining table as our family talked and laughed all night. The problem was that we had to literally put the carafe upside down to get last cup of coffee out. Some just wanted to freshen their coffee with a little extra and there we were trying to do so by pouring upside down. When it was time to clean it, coffee and/or water stay in the significant crevice where the plastic top is connected to the stainless steel. You just can’t get that out. This carafe does come with a scrubber, which is nice, but you still can’t get that little bit of coffee or even water out when it’s cleaned. So I put a paper towel in it and use a utensil with a long handle to dry what’s left inside. I’m now looking for a large mouth carafe that’s easier to serve coffee and clean.

I wanted a 2l pump thermos for these cases: If I am sick I will have hot water available immediately for a whole day and night day-near bed. If there is a water break in my area. For hosting. My former one was 5.7l pump thermos and did'nt fit me because: Washing it at sink after every use was a very uncomfortable operation - heavy, very large, the lid did'nt fall apart. That time i was looking for something different. I read specification of all the thermoses with pump, and there were quite a few... Here are the features I chosed: Long time of holding heat and cold storage (up to 24 hours each!!!!!) Lid falls apart - very comfortable to wash in the sink !!! (There was only one model). Inner material - I wanted glass, because it's healthier - I compromised on metal. I wanted a wide opening - for comfortable cleaning - I had to compromise. Swivel base - very comfortable. I wanted it all off-white / cream color - smooth - did'nt find, so I chosed stainless steel, which is brushed so there are no fingerprints. Too bad: The head is black. I saw on Japanese sites that there are different colors, it is unclear why Amazon sticks to stainless steel, not to all it is suitable, especially when it is a large and prominent instrument on the countertop, or serving. I wanted a narrow thermos that wouldn't take space, had to compromise. The thermos arrived and I am happy, high quality. I think it will serve me a lot. After few days using: I would change those parametters, if i could: A wider mouse- as it stays with water and it's very narrow and i can'nt push a cloth to dry it. Another colour. I'm disappionted today as i tried to buy: "Airpot Tray, for Airpots with 6.75 inch", but it does'nt sheep to my country!!! WHY??????????????????????????????????!!!

My needs are simple 🤔 I make my coffee and fill the carafe to begin drinking first thing in the morning ☕️ I can’t personally vouch for the 24 hours but I certainly can verify the coffee stays hot unused over night ☕️ (8hrs) I believe that unused it could keep hot for 24 hrs but as you use it some heat escapes
