Bought these as a gift for my grandson who is going into culinary like his mother, who is a chef. These are very sharp knives as she actually cut herself just barely touching the edge as she was trying to place them in the case that comes with the set. So yes, very sharp. She does state that the case is somewhat flimsy and not big enough as she could not close the case trying to fit the set inside it, so she will be looking for a better case to contain the set. But she does give the knives a 5 star rating for their quality and beautiful design, the gloves are a good large size and well made. Great purchase for the price.

Great for just starting out or a pro. VERY sharp so keep up high. They are easy to use and have a good handle so it’s easy to grip and comfortable to use. They aren’t very heavy!

This set is SHARP!! My husband actually cut his finger taking the plastic off so open them with caution!!! (He is fine :) ) They are also beautiful and feel well made and sturdy. The only issue was with the case. It is not cut proof and now has a pretty good size hole just from trying to close the case. The larger knives also don't fit so it doesn't close all the way with all knives in the case. We also noticed that if held vertically the wrong way, the knives can just slide out of the case (and possibly in to a foot). It's still a great set for what we paid, but really wish the case was as advertised and worked to hold all the knives without slicing holes in it or leaving some knives out.

I have had these knives for a month now and, WOW they are amazing! They are well built and stay sharp. When I am done using them for the day I hand wash and dry them run the ones I use across the sharpener and put them back in the case. As far as the knives are concerned I couldn’t be happier, the roll they come in is cheap and with as sharp as they are they cut through it pretty easily on accident. I will be buying a nice leather roll for them to keep them in good condition. That being said, I am buying these knives as Christmas presents this year for all of my kids.

Bought these in place of the expensive Coolina knives I saw advertisements for on social media. These knives are legit! Be careful with them. I did get a small cut on my finger as I was unwrapping them. You do have to realize that with the Carbon Steele, you do have to pay more attention to the way you take care of them. They do come oiled up. I’m not sure if that was okay to leave on them or not but I washed it all off before my first use. Just be sure to immediately dry them when you’re done washing them. Will I need all 10 knives? Probably not. Do I need the random accessories? I don’t think so. Are these sweet showing off to buddies? Absolutely!! And more than that, they cut fantastically!!

Great set. Good quality steel. Be careful when handling. Cut myself twice.
