"Frotha" Double Power Milk Frother: Ergonomic, Compact w/Interchangeable Attachments and Stand

Just purchased this "Frotha" last week.Decided on this particular model as it was listed as double the power but the price was just about the same as the other standard models.They are right!!Other than frothing the milk for our coffee, and mixing protein drinks we have already used this for other jobs.Whipping eggs for an omlette, it smooths the all the lumps from creamy canned soups,the chocolate milk and hot choclate we made for the kids was great.Should be very good for mixing pitchers of summer type drinks such as kool-aid and chrystal light.The compact size and stand make it easy to keep on the counter yet out of the way and the holders for the whisk and frother attachments keep them from dripping on the counter after rinsing.Very handy and we like it a lot.

I had this on my wish list for long time b/c i was trying to decide between this and a few others, I finally decided to get this model and I'm glad I did. My children love hot cocoa for after school and the froth on both the traditional chocolate and the instant is GREAT! The cleaning and assembly is quick and easy and the stand to store it is quite practical and doesn't take a lot of space on my small kitchen.I love the beater for our Saturday's breakfast, my son now likes to prepare the scramble eggs b/c it is so much to beat the eggs with it. I have even used it to mix some powder dyes to make frosting and was amazed that it worked even when mixing thick liquids.I'm glad i decided to get this model.

This actually has less torque than the two-battery models I had previously been using. I suspect the reviews claiming that this thing is too powerful are either fake, or from the recipients of a different version of this product. I used the brand new batteries that came with the device, and also tried brand new batteries of my own. It's the weakest frother I've ever tried.The milk frother attachment is very poorly designed too--the coils of the spring on the end of the attachment are spread too far apart, so it creates larger bubbles which do not result in as fine a foam. What's more is this attachment actually broke! The spring popped off the larger ring after only a few days of use.About the only upside of this frother is that it does actually have a much larger motor in it. So I was able to take it apart and add a 12v/1a power adapter. Now it has power. I was also able to fix the frothing attachment, which was incredibly difficult (and painful).If I had to do it again, I would have tried a different one. Although it seems like there is definitely a gap in the market for a model that is somewhere between milk frother and hand-blender. Somebody should make a powerful, variable speed device to fill this void.

Received this new "Frotha" early lask week after our old two battery unit died.The power is amazing and froths milk in about half the time of my old frother (be careful until you get used to the extra power). It also mixes my powdered protein drinks daily that my two battery unit could not handle.The removable attachments allow easy cleaning, the compact size and stand make it convenient to keep on the counter all the time.The whisk attachment is a great additionSo far, we have also found it excellent for scrambling eggs, making homemade whipped cream, mixing condensed soups, and stirring the occasional cocktail.This will make great stocking stuffers for x-mas this year!!

Unusably weak. Feckless to the point of being fraudulently represented. As the second of two 4 AA frothers I'm aware of, I was hoping it might be at least comparable to the BonJour 4AA cafe latte frother in torque, with perhaps a better frother shaft tip. Tip notwithstanding, I can't imagine how anybody finds this product useful for anything more challenging than lazily swirling liquids no more viscous than rubbing alcohol. Frothing? Fuggetabout it! Protein shake?!? (As one "reviewer" suggested) Hah!! There is simply woefully insufficient torque. I even "upgraded" the batteries to Eneloop 2500 ma NiMh and it made little difference. I believe the unit (which I immediately returned) was undamaged and operated as well as its design permitted. The fact that such a product actually got out of testing and as far as the marketplace is boggling. All of those "5 star reviews? Highly suspect. My best guess is they were written by company shills. You've been warned. Order this and be prepared to return it.

I've always bought just the regular brother for making my cappuccino, but after using the "Frotha" I will never go back to the basic type again.This really does a great job, not only on my milk froth, but on protein shakes as well. It is a powerhouse.It comes with 2 different mixing wands and a nice base to hold the unit. If you're looking for a basic, affordable frother, I highly recommend this unit. Especially when the cost was the same as the less powerful units and is a much higher quality.Great shipping time.

I use this to mix up all sorts of powders etc. and it really gets the job down very quickly with good power. Others frothers I have purchased just have not been up to the task. I like the little stand and the extra small whip. The batteries were a bit difficult to load and replace the cover but all in all this is the best frother I have seen in a long time. I use it at least a couple of times a day.
