Used this to pull a large toolbox into a trailer. As others have said, it was a little tedious getting all the ropes in line, but I was surprised how easy it was to pull and how powerful it was.

I needed to get the top toolbox on to the roller tool cart. This did the job. The box was over 200 pounds. I'll have other uses as well getting projects on and off the workbench. I would buy it again. Just be carefull not to get the line tangled.

Works well enough. It’s a little light weight and the rope like to jump off pulley without weight. But it does function well enough to use as needed without causing headaches.

It's PERFECT and works excellently. If you buy one, take your time setting it up, and make sure the rope doesn't get all tangled because that could create an issue for you when setting it up.

You can lift a very heavy load with this but cable must be kept tight after unhooking the load, the bottom pulley can flip over and tangle the crap out of the rope. Best to hook something to the bottom pulley after unhooking it. I used a bucket.

I ordered this after reading the reviews, many of which were quite critical! I have a project that requires suspending a truck bed so that I can take the truck out from under it for some work, and then driving the truck back under the bed to reattach once the work is completed.After building a support structure, I was able to use this little, inexpensively made block and tackle to lift the truck bed and suspend it. The thing worked better than expected.The most frequent complaint I see here about this block and tackle is that it gets all twisted up. The blame for that is usually placed on the rope that's being used. Well, it isn't the fault of the rope. It is the fault of the user! One of the very first things that need to be done before putting this to use is to lay out the rope, and run it through your hands to remove all the ADDITIONAL twists that were introduced when the rope was ucloiled! Get the rope nice and straight and you won't have a twisted up block and tackle!

Previous block and tackle I had bought was a bit flimsy. Using it to raise bicycles in garage. Have a16 ft. ceiling in garage so bikes are pretty high up and over one of my cars. Have always been a little fearful of block and tackle failing and dropping bikes on to car. This Block and Tackle much more sturdy and solidly built. Also comes with rope and ready to install. Prior block and tackle came with flimsy rope and had to replace it. Switched over and now no fear of block and tackle failing.
