Rubbish
Total rubbish. Did not power up, lid was very difficult to and the instructions were rolled up in the bottom of the box. Not recommended

First impressions - disappointing
I have unpacked the set and tested if it works. I have NOT yet tested the playing functionality...... The set arrived in a sealed box. The instruction manual (83 pages - multilingual) was tightly rolled and squeezed into the bottom of the box. It is so tightly coiled that it can't really be used. I've given it 3 days but it is still coiled and unusable. Fortunately, a manual is available on line (but be careful downloading - the site I used has scam download advertisements which try to trick you into expensive spurious subscriptions, £49 per month in this case. The bona fide download is a useable pdf of the manual). The lid is so tight that it is very difficult to open - I had to use a small screwdriver as a lever. Be careful how you do this - there is a tray of loose chess pieces inside which could fly everywhere and be lost. Opening should become easier with repeated use. The chess pieces are very small, not easily recognisable, and feel cheap and tacky. It is especially difficult to distinguish between pawns and bishops. The loose pieces in the tray are extra queens and pawns - the full set of pieces is already in position, in my case, set up the wrong way round! Losing pieces may be a problem. I could not find replacements listed on the Lexibook website, and I have searched the internet without success for similar pieces. Pieces did not fit very well in the A file, suggesting to me that the underlying contact strip has a bulge. The battery compartment is only accessible with a small Phillips screwdriver, so if the batteries fail when you don't have one handy it's the end of your usage. It may be an idea to keep a small screwdriver in the pieces tray. The critical thing is, of course, the quality of the software which I haven't tested yet. Meanwhile I am left with the suspicion that I might have a good piece of software built into an ill thought out load of tat.

cheap and not fun
Chess pieces are minute....smaller than you'd expect and difficult to see and move. Instruction manual is packed rolled up and so is awkward to read. Feels cheap....should be half the price really. Not fun to use at all. Can't recommend it.

Pieces are too small
The chess pieces are made of cheap plastic and are so small you will need the eyesight of a peregrine falcon to recognise some of them , they are also difficult to handle due to their minute size .. in my opinion, to try and play a game, would not be enjoyable . It is a travel chess game but, I think the pieces should be a little larger and of better quality for the price . I wouldn't recommend this .
