The images & the description resulted in having high expectations that this would be a perfect jewellery travel roll. I was not disappointed. The quality, size & layout exceeded my expectations. I want to take it on a months cruise. Most decent jewellery rolls can cope with earrings & rings, but tangle necklaces & chains. So finding something that wouldn't tangle necklaces was a priority when searching. I'm very very confident, based on the size & layout, that this will prove to be the very best for my necklaces. I'd be very surprised if it disappointed anyone unless they only needed something for rings, earrings or broaches. I had originally thought I might need two, but that really won't be necessary. This beautifully soft roll, has soft velvety folds on all 4 sides to protect the contents before the roll is finally closed with velcro. I'm not sure I'd call it a roll really.... Once the velcro is fastened its an oblong shape, as in the picture. Perfect for packing. You could roll it at this closed point but you'd have to secure it with a band or piece of ribbon. Personally I think this travel 'soft case' is perfect as it is for packing in a suitcase, but maybe creating a roll might be more useful if it's going in, for instance, a backpack.It arrives in a simple clear wrapper, no box (which was fine for me). It might be nice if a box was optional because this would make a lovely inexpensive gift. It already looks far more expensive than it is. It looks quite dark in the Amazon pictures. Mine is a classy dark plum. Very nice indeed!

Very neat & compact, perfect for holding my jewellery

This is a classic jewellery roll, great quality, but it does say XL but it was smaller than I anticipated. But nevertheless a great product

i have lived in 8 countries and i LOVE jewelry! i would wrap my necklaces around cardboard and tape them when travelling and i would end up not wearing them because it was too much work. never again!! not a single tangle!!!

I have been increasingly frustrated by chains 'knotting' whenever I carry them anywhere. This handy pouch should take care of that. It's very light and easy to pack.

Bought this mainly for earings , to go on a long cruise , press studs for necklaces , and using hoop earrings could put through press stud hoops . However wanted storage for stud earrings , so had to create holes on one of the flaps that folds over to cover necklaces , will be ok I think , but had to create what I wanted , then when I had created holes had to mark where holes were with a blob of nail varnish so I could see where holes were on the dark velvet type material , not great but have eventually got what I think will be ok .Unless you want to do what iv done , only ok !!

Not bought for travelling with but would be good. I wanted something to store necklaces and bracelets and it is great would definitely recommend.

Bought for my mum. Fit a lot of jewellery in and folded up nicely.

So happy with this, stores all your chains and bracelets, in a small space and keeps them from tangling.Very happy with the quality.
