Great customer service
Edit 16SEP19Received a second pole after talking back and forth with the seller. Great communication and easy to work through my problem.Got the telescopic rod delivered yesterday and was received in great condition. The next day, I went to test it out in the water. I noticed the pole is very sturdy, while the telescoping held up fine and the action of the rod is very playful for jigging. However, after fishing a couple hours, I decided to call it a day and started to collapse the rod. The second to top guide ring came off! From the looks of it, they seem to be barely glued on. I will be in contact with the seller.

Great
So far, this has been a good rod. It’s so much easier to transport, due to the telescoping in and out. It’s plenty long enough for what I wanted. The stiffness is just right. It handles very well.

Decent for the money
Wanted a telescoping rod for walking creeks and this one works out well. NOT the highest quality but at this price point, it serves the function. If you buy this expecting UGLY Stick performance, you will be disappointed. However, for casual creek fishing and walking through woods, the rod works great. Slides down very small, but hangs out of my zippered takle bag about 2 inches. Overall decent value, just dont expect top performance in elacticity, eyelet finish or long term lasting quality. This is defeinatly a rod for those days you're trakcing through some bruch to get to a creek bank, not a rod for everyday use to catch slabs :)

Awesome for backpacking/hiking
I have used an older version of this rod for a couple of years until the tip broke last week. It was my fault it broke. So I'm happy to replace it with the same product. Except it isn't exactly the same, it seems to be slightly beefed up. I'm reviewing the smallest one you can buy btw, 1.8m I believe. The old rod of the same length had 4 eyes, this one has 5, which is an upgrade for sure. The handle feels better in my hand, it's slightly larger. The rod extended is about 3 inches longer than the old one, not a big difference, but worth noting. It is slightly heavier, and as a person that uses this while hiking or backpacking, it is why I knocked this version down a star in the lightweight category. Overall, not a big deal though, I'll still happily use it while hiking.Which brings me to the main benefit of this rod; it's very easy to hike with. It collapses down quickly and easily. It's easy to either hold while hiking or keep it in my backpack while backpacking without it sticking out of the pack and catching itself on things. Really cool rod and I recommend it.

Decent but don't make it your go to rod
You get what you pay for. Mine broke after a year and a half of use.

Worth the price, great buy.
I was very impressed and surprised with the quality of this fishing rod. It is a quality piece and well worth the price. I travel a lot and I love to fish while I’m out there moving around. I have a smaller telescoping rod for streams and ponds, but you need something bigger for further casting in larger bodies of water so this is a perfect addition to my gear.

Good product
I've purchased about 3 of these rods in the last couple of years just cuz they can take a beating and perform like a pro....unbeatable price for the quality... last trip I caught 4 kudas over 15# each....
