Excellent single edged Karambit
I am a knife collector, black belt (2nd Dan), and concealed carry citizen. However, where we cannot carry a gun, I carry knives. This is a D2 steel blade in a Karambit style which is complementary to my form of martial arts. The blade is SHARP. I am always concerned about the handle length in relation to the blade, but this knife fits my hand perfectly. I wear size 8 surgical gloves. The knife is well balanced. The grips are solid and feel comfortable. The blade is 3.4”.The sheath is a knockoff of a major holster maker, but it is functional. I removed one spacer for fitting my Bravo Concealment nylon belt. It does slide around a bit but with the draw, the holster works perfectly. You can adjust the cant or side upon which you carry. Though I’m ambidextrous, I find it is better to carry a fixed blade on my non-dominant hand. The draw from concealment is smooth. The holster is made of Kydex and is well made.I am very pleased in design, weight and balance of this knife. For self defense I will not be using this for an EDC, meaning I won’t be using it for normal cutting tasks. It will served as a defensive tool, only.I highly recommend it.

Home run: amazing product that u must own to believe.
Listen folks im not a knife fighter. I am a CCW liceansed carrier and was looking for a really nice companion knife for my firearm. I do, do outdoors activities such as camping, hunting, fishing, ect. Well anyways got this knife today and tbh its just simply amazing. The main selling point for me was the steel(D-2). Which has a rockwell hardness of 63, is extremely wear resistant, and has a high carbon rating making this knife incredibly durable and bone chilling sharp. I own 5 karambit knives and this one by far for the price point is the best ive got hands down. First test i did after opening was taking an old phone book and starting at the top down, applying some pressure but not alot; I cut clean thru the last 3 inches of the book. Guys i will be buying this knife again for just putting up as collecting knives goes but i am seriously considering buying as many as i can of this brand and doing reviews on them on my utube channel. Im just utterly amazed with this product. For utility uses such as bushcraft all i can say is makes amazing feather sticks and u can use the falcon eye in the blade for 3/8 inch ferro rods with no issues

A karambit for responsible blade owners.
I had previously bought another karambit from Masalong and though impressed by the design and versatility, I went with this version to give me a varient for outdoor survival. Like most other reviewers I was satisfied with the blade design and the quality/sharpness. My criticism toward this blade and many of the other variants in the Masalomg line is a disregard for hand placement safety when holding in the "ice pick grip" - leaving your pinky open to potential blade knicks if you're not careful. Plus, the handle is more suited for smaller hands thus increasing the risk of accidental cuts. Otherwise, the product is decent and most capable of living up to its price point. One request to Masalong is that they give customers the option of leather sheath that can be swapped from right or left belt placement. Even if they increased the price a bit for the leather sheath... it'd be worth it.

QC is great, the edge is typical of most production knives ...
I know Masalong has taken ALOT of heat about stolen or copied designs from reading the reviews on other knives that they produce...BUT this knife is extremely well built, QC is great, the edge is typical of most production knives and at this price point it's a helluva deal. I will keep an eye on this as I carry it as I have read some reviews (again on OTHER) that Masalong has had some issues with rust. The only thing that I can say that I don't like is the sheath design,It's solid & it retains the blade but it is awkward and a poor design for a karambit unless you plan on drawing the knife in a forward grip...but I can(and will) fix that with a dremel tool. I do prefer to buy American & I didn't purchase from Masalong for this reason for sometime & I decided on whim just to see for myself if the knives they produce were capable of being an EDC knife that didn't cost much. I do reserve the right to revise this review later on but my initial impression is a positive one.

Great fixed blade knife.
Knife comes very sharp. Weight of blade alone filleted my thumb on a miss flip. Don't know how hard it is to sharpen but feel sorry for anyone caught on the business end of this blade. Only complaint is the sheath. I like that it can be canted, but not very concealable. Only realistic conceal carry is straight up and down. Would buy again but would consider a folder for EDC purposes.

Can't go wrong.
If you are looking for a good affordable and thus disposable EDC Karambit these Masalong Karambits should be top of the list. They come with a very good sheath, and a knock-off brand Tek Loc (it will do what it needs to do, though I prefer the security of the folding claw locking mechanism of the brand name ones better).I only have a minor complaint about the design of this Karambit with regard to the length and ergonomics of the grip, the very end of the blade near the hand is pointy and often touches the hand when being deployed, potentially cutting you. No big deal, just file/sharpen it dull or grind it out in about 10 seconds on a grind wheel or with a dremel. But keep it in mind.I bought this one (bottom in the picture) as well as the outdoor survival claw (top in the picture), and I like them both the same, but for slightly different reasons. This one feels like it cuts better somehow. But the other feels quicker and more ergonomic.Overal, this makes for an ideal backup EDC blade, that you won't worry about losing in the heat of a life or death struggle like you might if it was an expensive custom Karambit or something.Under 50$ is the sweet spot for EDC tools like this, and nobody seems to offer a better product with a good sheath and great quality control like Masalong.
