AllExtreme EXTCSL2 Safety T Shaped Alloy Steel Car Steering Wheel Lock with Burglar Alarm

Using this for almost 3 months. I park my car on the roadside. That too in bihar where this practice is not prevalent. So there is always a fear in mind, cause mostly my car is the only one parked outside in the area.Although I cannot comment on how strong this is, until someone attempts to break in :pBut yes it solves the purpose of creating a barrier in thieves' mind.I am not using the alarm. because the car already has anti theft alarm.There is one con though, the screw for holding battery (for alarm) scratches the dashboard. So I already removed the screw before first use.

A first, a wrong product was sent.When we agitated, a look alike product which has such a shabby finish has been sent.It is a complete waste of money.I had ordered it for my Hyundai Creta Car and on the first day itself after using the product yesterday, I realised that the front part of this lock (which has such a rough finish) is sure to leave scratches on the Dashboard. I feel cheated..

Pros:-- Well built- Good sized product. Once locked on the steering wheel, it is quite visible from the outside and looks sturdy and strong and can act as a visual deterrent to potential car burglar.- Fits on all kinds of steering wheels.- Its a working product and is doing its job.Cons:-- By the packaging it looks like a direct import from China and is not made in India. This can turn out to be an issue if something goes wrong with the lock. In this case, you will most likely have to order a replacement as repair or service in India seems unlikely.- If you lose the keys or if it gets stuck, it will be difficult to get replacement keys as its keys are of special type - the key metal body is curved and not flat like normal keys. So keep your extra key at a safe place. I am not sure if you can get duplicates made for this kind of key.- If you are not able to rotate the key fully to lock or unlock, then the lock gets stuck in a middle position where its neither locked nor unlocked. And this takes quite a bit of an effort to untangle. Be careful on this!- The product's build quality is good, but not fantastic. For a security device like this, I would want a very good build quality and would have paid more for the same. The quality of packaging too is not top notch - which further corroborates this fact.- The instructions on the packaging were not in English - only Chinese.- I never checked for the alarm system, so cant say whether it works or not. But I certainly did notice cheap quality of plastic cover for the batteries and not so good finish. And that too is not clip-on and clip-off type; you have to screw and unscrew to open and close it. Again - back to my point above - I would have wanted a better manufactured product and better build quality.

Neither on product nor on packaging.This is a made in China product. If something goes wrong with the lock then it might give user some tough time

It did fit the steering wheel of my Jeep and the inside of the grip is rubberized so it won't scratch the wheel.- Heavy duty locking mechanism with unique security key design, make it safe.- Universal type fit most steering wheels, even steering wheels with airbags.- Tough steel construction.- Two security keys included.- Very easy to install.Best part of this lock is Alarm, alarm triggers when there is a slight shake…. Alarm sound loud enough.

This causes scratches with prolonged use due to screws at the back side. i couldnt return as by the time i realised this issue it had already gone over the return, this caused scratches all over the front dashboard of my new car. Very dissapointed. The alarm is also very week and not sufficient to prevent burglary.

Very bad quality. Locking is difficult. Sound of alarm is hardly audible. Stearing moves even after locking. Edges are very harsh and may hurt if not used very carefully.

Excellent product. Use it for Marazzo. sleek and easy to use. Looks good too. Item is very sturdy
