These are great for the price. Is it as good as the $10 black man bombs? No way! But for $16 you get 12 of these guys so you gotta lower your expectations. 1 makes the water black but very translucent with no stains. 2 makes the water much blacker and less translucent but still a little see through and starts to leave black marks inside the tub. 3 is nearly opaque and really leaves a lot of black marks behind. Keep in mind it’s not staining your tub at all!! It’s staining the soap scum so all you need to do is clean your tub. If you notice you get black marks on your tub with even 1 bomb you either have a very old tub or have not cleaned it in awhile. Any marks that may occur on skin easily scrub off. Finally these don’t really fizz much so you have to physically slosh the water around to make the black even. Hope this helps someone. Enjoy your bath :)

These are scented very nice for a bath, not too subtle to where you can barely smell it but not overpowering so that its TOO much scent for the bath.That being said, the scent does not stay on you after bathing which for some could be disappointing but I myself dont mind.I will say it does turn the water black so keep that in mind if you buy these for a gift. Might want to let the recipient know that.Fizzes well and I like the variety of scents it comes with

I bought these while looking for a substitute for the black bath bombs I've been using after the maker stopped selling them. These disappointed in so many ways.First off, they don't actually turn the water black, only a light gray. In order to get the water in my tub "black", I was forced to use two. For reference, my tub is actually a fairly small one. The discontinued brand, that I'd been using before these, easily turned the water pitch black with one mini bath bomb.Second, after using them the water felt gritty. Like I was bathing in muddy water or sea water. It felt horrible.Finally, when I'd finished my bath and got out I was horrified to find out that the charcoal in the bath bombs had settled. So not only was I filthy with charcoal mud, my tub was absolutely covered in it. Rinsing my tub did nothing. I had to wash the tub out completely, with cleaner, to get it off.Ultimately, I bought these to feel relaxed. They utterly failed in that regard. Not only am I not relaxed, I am so stressed out I actually wrote out this review just to vent.Do not buy these bath bombs. They do not work and they'll just leave you feeling stressed out.

These are awesome! Definitely need more than one or two to create a black water effect. It bubbles up decently. They are about golf ball sized.They do leave a black film on the tub and skin but comes off easy with a cloth and water.Very cute design!!

they are super cute, but the pics make them look a little bigger then they are. did not realize they where scented. but no big smell nice and do the job. Reminder as with all bath bombs you should rinse off after use.

I enjoy these quite a bit and my skin feels amazing afterwards. However, some of them appear to have more black coloring than others and some of them dont have much of a smell at all.

Fun to drop in your bath water!Good variety of scents.Not sure of the real benefits of it on your skin, but no skin reaction, which is good.The pictures show a lot of bubbles, but it doesn’t really produce that much. Will leave some residue on your bath tub, so be prepared to scrub a bit. I would suggest you take a shower first in order to remove as much skin oil as possible before taking your bath.

Good but u had to use 2 or 3 in order to get an opaque color and the smell was nice, did leave a residue a couple of times but nothing permanent
