Effective and fast-acting — lemon flavor is a nice touch
I used the Major Magnesium Citrate Saline Laxative in lemon flavor and it worked exactly as advertised. It helped relieve occasional constipation quickly and effectively. The lemon flavor made it more tolerable than I expected. The 10 fl oz size was the right amount and I appreciated that it was a straightforward, no-frills product. OK ... LISTEN UP! If you need relief from constipation, this product works. Don't sip the damn stuff, just chug it down quickly. It's not a soft drink ... but it tastes fine. Then, drink an 8 oz glass of water immediately after. Now, it's time to wait. DON'T STRAY TOO FAR FROM YOUR TOILET! I've used this for years and it's never failed me. This last time, my first "movement" came nearly six hours after drinking the medicine. The final "movement" came nearly 20 hours after consumption.

I bought the mag citrate because I was having my knee replaced and knew that constipation woud be an issue from the pain pills. I had used the mag citrate after previous surgery and it did the job. I only needed one bottle this time..

It's a very sour drink that makes you poop
Waited an hour, and got a little movement. 2 hours, a little more. 3 hours .. those floodgates were open. I didn't wander too far from the bathroom for the rest of the day. It's a little sour tasting. So be prepared to make some faces I lost 10 lbs. I guess you could say I was full of crap.
