Titan Tool ControlMax 1650 18V High Efficiency Cordless Airless Paint Sprayer

This Titan ControlMax 1650 cordless airless paint sprayer completely exceeded my expectations! It's excellent, lightweight, and so practical and comfortable to use. I was able to paint an entire room in my apartment in just 2 hours, which saved me so much time compared to doing it with a roller or brush. It's easy to handle and maneuver, even for longer painting sessions. Great performance and efficiency for the price. Highly recommend it if you want a fast, professional-looking finish without the hassle!

This machine is perfect, most people who’ve reviewed this complained about how “hard” it is to clean but it only took me 10 minutes and a 5 gl bucket of water so if you’re not impatient it’s fairly straight forward and easy. Pour the excess paint back in the bucket, rinse out the container and then run fresh clean water through the pump and hose/gun. No, the hose and gun don’t leak you just need to tighten everything properly. No, this will not paint your house but it will paint your cabinets, gate, trim, and other medium projects and the pressure is just fine for what you need it for. If you’re on the fence, just buy it don’t waste 2x the money on the Graco quickshot.

This is the worst sprayer I have ever used. It only sprays for short distances before it sputters like it’s an out of shape person running up hill, at which point it starts spraying droplets that yoi have to sand and repair later. I got done with spraying one wall before this happend 3x times. I do not recommend at all. It will cost you time and money. I have no idea how others managed to use this product at all.

As much as I wanted love this sprayer, I returned it after about an hour use. The Titan ControlMax (1650) is almost completely plastic. And while this does make it light, and easy to clean, the spray gun, the stock tip guard, and the outer gun housing are all cheap plastic. It does come with a tip adapter to use regular tip guards, but at almost $600, I expected more. The biggest problem that I had was it will not spray latex paint, un-thinned, without having to stop make up pressure. This NOT a 3000psi sprayer. It is 1500psi and struggels to maintain pressure. Also, while using it for maybe 20 min, the gun started to leak paint from the filter. The gun and hose are not serviceable. They can be removed at the tank, but the 6' hose and gun can't be separated. I have a Titan 440 that I love and recommend most Titan products. Titan does offer a ControlMax 120 that is more robust, but at $1200, it too feels over priced. Getting a 120 was a bit of a problem local, and this 1650 was here in 2 days. 2.5/5 stars

This sprayer is incredibly handy for smaller projects. If you wanted to paint an entire house, it may not be quite the best item. But with smaller items, it works well. It’s easy to carry, fits nicely on your back, has a good spray. A nice part is it’s easy to find the parts because the tips and the nozzles All work together. I went to Lowe’s and picked up an extra battery. One twice the capacity. I completed a large cupolas that stands 15 feet tall. It required ropes to access. And this item was absolutely perfect. And you can’t beat the price.
