I have only one "complaint" about this equipment: it doesn't stay exactly in place over the toilet. In tight space with a caregiver, it is easy to kick it a bit out of alignment for when the seat piece lowers down to the bowl. I have added a piece of PVC trim material that I cut to fit between back rail and toilet tank to keep it from shifting back, and am working on locator for the back to capture feet in alignment side to side. It seems pricey until you consider a trip to the hospital if user falls or caregiver hurts their back assisting. I would recommend this product highly.

After working great for several weeks, the "up-down" switch became intermittent, sometimes requiring dozens of pushes to activate. Ultimately it failed to work at all. Since it was the perfect solution for my wife's mobility challenges, we had already ordered another one to use upstairs when we get a stair lift installed. We put the new one to work downstairs and retired the dead one to the garage. By now we were well beyond the 30-day Amazon return period, but I was able work directly with the manufacturer for a full refund. Because of their excellent customer service after the problem, we highly recommend Kmina to others in the future.

No front outlet

My wife recently injured her knee, badly, and is still unable to walk, or bare any weight at all, weeks later. One of the most difficult things for her to do is get off the couch, get to the toilet and back. She is not strong so doing one leg squats (several times per day) is EXTREMELY difficult for her, even with my assistance. This seat cuts those squats in half and makes her life much easier and less painful. It has also been a great help to my back. We both completely recommend this char.

I love it, works well, help me going down to the toilet to standing up, I just hope that there is a provision for bidet

Easy to assemble and install. Hard to get behind to wipe easily but seems to be a solid product

We were very concerned when the product was delivery, due to the packaging was severely damage. However, the product itself was intact with no issues.

We’ve had this raiser since May 2023 and it has helped immeasurably in enabling both my wife, her carers and me (as carer-in-residence) to have an easier toileting experience since then (time of writing 2+ years later). Recently it developed cracks just in front of the armrest joints with the main seat, which was alarming - it’s not a cheap piece of kit, although cheaper than other makes. I contacted the company via Amazon. Response time was very quick, very polite and friendly and incredibly helpful. They will replace the seat under warranty as soon as they can get one from the warehouse I was told this morning. First contact was yesterday morning. So satisfaction in 24 hours. Best I’ve experienced from any company. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Por suerte sigo contando con uno de mis abuelos, pero está muy mayor y cualquier ayuda ya es buena, cuenta con una persona de acompañamiento en casa, pero el tener autonomia en el baño es algo que ya hasta da un poco de dignidad y al instalar esto quedó encantado. El elevador ayuda un montón a las personas impedidas, y desde luego ganan calidad de vida. Hay que tener en cuenta una serie de cosas; en primer lugar informate de las medidas, porque si donde lo quieres poner es una taza de water de casa muy antigua, tipo años 60, quizás sea demasiado grande para este elevador, en segundo lugar, hay que quitar la tapa del water, ya que el elevador cuenta con la suya propia, por ultimo, requiere como es normal una toma electrica, y no creo que tengas una a mano cerca del inodoro, en los baños suele estar cerca del lavavo, así que te tocará alargar y llevarle corriente eléctrica. A partir de ahí el montaje es cuestión de echar un rato y lo dejarás muy bien puesto. El paquete en el que viene es bastante grande y pesado, viene semi montado pero hay que acabar el ensamblaje. Su uso es sencillo, tiene un mando con cable para subir y bajar, simplisimo, y además es silencioso, cuenta con un motor y un tornillo sin fin que va moviendo el elevador a una velocidad adecuada, no muy rápido, funciona fenomenal. Por ultimo, la calidad de los materiales está fuera de toda duda, es un equipamiento para cuidado de personas impedidas de calidad, no un chisme chino que aguanta el peso justito, es robusto y de calidad.
