Renogy 12V 20A DC to DC Battery Charger with Multi-Stage Charging and Bluetooth Compatibility for Flooded, Gel, AGM, and Lithium Batteries in RVs, Commercial Vehicles, Boats, and Yachts

Updated review - I made a mistake. I have a parasitic load on my system but it's not this DC DC charger. I pulled the charger out of the system and still had the same discharging of my batteries I was attributing to this charger. Adding the charger back into the system and no detectable difference to this discharge rate. This charger works great and it's easy to set up and modify the charging parameters through the app; which I really appreciate. Easy to set it up so it keeps my LiFePO4 house batteries at ~80% while my boat sits during the week. ---- old review ---- Charger works as advertised but there is a much larger than anticipated parasitic load when not charging. I estimate it to be about 1 amp. Drained a 100Ah AGM dual purpose battery from 12.7 to 12.0V in ~48 hours. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix (softwear or otherwise)? This charger isn't useful for marine applications where there are often days to weeks between motor use with this magnitude parasitic load.

Works as advertised. According to the bluetooth, that you have to purchase separately, the charger is putting out 20amps. Installation is easy.

My experience with this has been disappointing... and I haven't even connected it. It was shipped in the display box, without any further protection. That small box showed evidence of a blow to one corner and possibly a blow to the bottom side. Inside the display box, the unit was loosely packed so that it moved around. The charger had one bent fin and showed signs of use. The little Quick Start pamphlet said that connecting wires and a temperature sensor were included, but they were missing. One of terminal screws was missing. So I attempted to contact Renogy customer service to see how they wanted to handle this. I reached a human, who demanded a great deal of personal information before he would let me ask any questions. I said I would not give such extensive personal information just to get guidance how Renogy wanted to handle this. I told him I would then return the charger to Amazon or not, depending on whether he'd discuss what I'd received. He refused, and I've returned the product, after I talked to a customer service "specialist" at amazon who has assured me that I'll receive a full refund. I am pretty well turned off Renogy products, and I'd suggest caution in dealing with them.

Works good, also got the BL2 bluetooth interface (cool that they give you a lower price option in case you don't need BT). The instructions are good (Made in USA), app works good, the until has lots of charge profiles and even current limiting. My only disappointment was that you can only choose from 10A increments for the current limiter. We get 10, 20, 30 and 40 and well I need 25... ohh well

Been using this for a while. I previously had a battery isolator running with my lithium iron phosphate battery on my van. And it started causing issues and was causing the battery to not charge to a high enough voltage. Now it seems to be working perfectly and my 100 amp power battery is getting upwards of 14 V again. Woo!
