Light Ash Brown. Not light. Not Ash.
Light Ash Brown - don’t make me laugh. Not light. Not ash. Not semi. I’ve used Clairol light ash brown for years. This is a new formula and it’s horrible. I was horrified when I used it. It is dark brown with a tinge of something that certainly isn’t ash. My small granddaughter asked me why my hair was ORANGE. I was mortified. I looked like mutton - colour so unsuitable for mature skin. The old formula looked so natural. This was just matte. Hair felt horrible too. I washed it 15 times in 3 days trying to tone it down. Nothing shifted. So much for a semi. After 3 weeks it has faded a bit but just got more orange. I see others have reported it is not light brown. False description. Can’t send it back! - furious.

Don't like new formula
Not a fan of this new 'upgrade'. Impossible to rinse the conditioner out of your hair as it leaves the hair full of product and looks and feels greasy so need to actually wash it out. The dye appears to be the same so will use my own conditioner in future as I've tried this twice thinking the first one may be a bad batch but both the same UPDATE purchased again and used own conditioner but it's not the conditioner that's the problem, it's the new formula so will be looking for an alternative now after using this for years sadly
