Amazing graphics and game play
Really pleased with this purchase. Amazing graphics and game play, we are all avid golfers and liked the following:1) Very easy to set up2) Multi player option3) Can be used indoors or outdoors4) You can cast the screen from your phone or tablet to your TV & it looks GREAT on a big screen5) PortablePutting could be better but I believe all simulators have issues detecting puts.

Somewhat new technology but with major issues.
Previous reviews rate this highly, and the YouTube videos are very convincing on the use, sadly this is not my experience, I ordered two as gifts for avid golfers, two arrived quickly but sadly one had a damaged swing trainer, it was returned and replaced very quickly by amazon. The two units then remained untouched till Christmas. Sadly on Boxing Day the two people who I had ordered for both returned them to me as neither sensor would hold a charge. So of three units none were or are functional. The technology is new and I may be the unlucky customer to have experienced a bad batch even so three faulty items are not a good advert for reliability at £199 each. Returning for a refund.

About as good as my swing
I seem to be the odd one out regarding reviewing this item, but that is nothing new.The box arrived, within which was a pseudo golf club; a standard grip, with a shortened shaft and a quite heavy ball on the end of it. Into this "club" you place a sensor, which follows the trajectory of your swing. The alternative is to insert the sensor into one of your clubs: I found this far more satisfactory and allowed me to feel like I was playing golf of sorts. Although more of that shortly.Installing the app to interface with the software was easy. I installed the app on both Android and Apple devices; the latter providing smoother graffics and a better screen rendition. This may be due to the more powerful chip and I suspect the graphics set. Pairing with a TV was easy via Amazon Fire, but I could not get it to pair with my smart TV separately, which was a bit disappointing.Time to pull on a set of plus fours and ready for a swift 18 holes, or not. I am quite tall and it did not even need my observant wife to stop me from practising my swing to realise that I needed to use this item outside our house; you can use it indoors but you will need to have significantly higher ceilings than ours, when driving, even when using the supplied shortened club, So out it was to our summer house, which with a pent roof allowed me to really test the software. In that regards, I found the graphics a bit dated. To be honest, using either Android or IOS does limit what the softward developers can programme, but in this case, I would suggest it resembles software at least 10 years old - it doesn't detract from the game play though, What I found does detract is the way that the ball travels, particularly when putting; which like my real game is very much hit and miss.Comparing to the real game, well it isn't , however, it is probably about the best simulator you can purchase at a reasonable price. Personally, I found it very frustrating to use and in that regard, I was not alone. A number of us have tried it out and feel that whilst it isn't bad as games go, it is unlikely to improve your golf, particularly using the golf swing stick supplied.I think it is a marmite item, you either will love it........

Not a swing trainer or golf training aid. Good fun with friends only.
Ok so let’s start with one thing that many people will want to know. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT A SWING TRAINER AND THIS DOES NOT COME WITH WORLD GOLF. When it arrived there was a sticker on the box saying ‘WGT software coming soon’!!!!! I have owned mine for months now and no word at all as to when we can expect WGT if at all. This was also disappointing news as the standard graphics are very basic and jumpy/robotic. It will connect to your iPad/iPhone wirelessly but WILL NOT connect to your smart television wirelessly and requires an hdmi connection via a suitable adaptor. This, however, has its downsides too as there is then about a seconds delay in real time swing reaching your television. In addition to this the promotional video (see YouTube) shows the player twisting the club to select distance and the line of the shot. THIS DOES NOT WORK AS SHOWN. Sadly another glorified feature that actually isn’t true of the real game itself. While it will move from left to right it jumps about 30 yards each way so pretty useless for accurate shots. You have to walk to your tablet and move the direction of the shot manually. Putting is probably the worst of all the games features though as it often takes a shot without you knowing which, when playing a friend, is very frustrating as it just adds shots. In addition distance is a fictional number as you can swing hard or softly and reach the cup so not really any good for practice. So in summary. Please don’t buy this thinking it will aid your golf as it in not a golf simulator for the purposes of swing analysis. It simply isn’t up to that and shouldn’t be considered a swing trainer. Nor will it aid putting or chipping. It is purely a fun game for family and friends to play and a serious golfer (I play off 9 if this gives you an idea of where I’m coming from) will only find this game frustrating as it simulates nothing reflective to your swing. The absence of WGT despite the promotional video showing it is also very frustrating and really shouldn’t have been included in this products promotion as it may never arrive. It should only be considered as a good bit of fun with friends and on that basis I have awarded it two stars for value for money. This would have been more but as WGT isn’t actually present it’s just an outdated graphics game.

Fantastic golf simulator
This is a fantastic golf simulator that's not only brilliant for use at home, but portable so can travel with you ... particularly great for nights away from home in hotels where boredom can kick in. It works really well - very clever - and before long, you'll feel like you're actually out on a course. Great practice - genuinely can help to improve your game!

So Fun!!
Wow we love this. So awesome! Easy setup. Bought the apple AC adaptor cord and it’s awesome in our big tv. Only reason for a 4 is that the driver goes shorter than the 3 wood but other than that the distances are uncanny for me. This is a great training device and oh so fun!!!!

DISSAPOINTING
Had such high hopes for this one but it was a nightmare to connect to the television. Tried chromecast and various other screen mirroring apps but nothing worked.
