Jamie Sams is a tremenously good writer and has the ability to explain concepts beautifully and with clarity. Whether you know a lot about the subject or not, it is always a great read and brings further insights. I can't recommennd this book enough!

Everything about this book and Sams wise words make sense in the simplest way. It is ancient timeless wisdom. The book stores are jammed with self help books and books that help to "raise our consciousness" or become more "enlightened". I've read a lot of them. Jamie Sams goes deeper and beyond our modern, chic spirituality movements by simply honoring the ancient wisdom of the 13 Original grandmothers. If you are looking for spiritual guidance, start here. If you need more after reading Clan Mothers, keep looking. Chances are you won't.

Incredible writing, Smooth and loving feel from this book.. I felt the caring as each chapter progressed, And it was as if I was in the story watching it unfold. Great information. I am learning alot from this book as I read it. Learning about my family heritage just now. This has opened up the indians woman place as a mother, healer, helper, and all other aspects.. I am not done reading the book yet. So still at it. Cannot go wrong with this book.

The author clearly describes Native American culture, spirituality and traditions in an easy-to-read style. The book could be improved by adding a list of terms and subjects discussed for easy reference by readers. This is a great overview that introduces the reader to Naive American beliefs.

Wonderfully written. Gave me a look at the Seneca Nation I'd never read of.On another note, I don't know why the book mailorder house had to put their sticker smack dab in the middle of the front cover. Trying to remove it I peeled away a piece of the cover and it looks bad.

I love Jamie Sams’s animal wisdom cards and the book that goes with them. So I got this in hope of great things. Sadly it turns out to be a callow early work. It is jumbled, wishy washy, lacking any coherent structure in terms of philosophy or how the book is put together. So it is a stertorous and irritating read. Please draw a veil over this effort and go to her later work.

All should be born in to this not born the way we are fauls ways and always have been with our systems of the world order this book brings life and new things for the mind to create true beauty. Amenx👽✌🏻👁

I am Indigenous. I couldn't make it past page 18 of this book. She is making money off of mixing teachings from cultures. It is a laughable and a distressing mixture of her own thoughts. Save yourself money and don't buy this book. None of my Indigenous friends have been able to get past page 10.
