My cat much prefers this to his litter tray.
I bought this because it was cheap and, frankly, my cat isn't worth it. We got him as a rescue cat when he was about a year old or something and the vet told us he wouldn't live to be an old cat.Fifteen years later and it'd be safe to say that he's outstayed his welcome. The cat (I won't even dignify him with his name), has pissed on everything soft that I own. I got this bed because his old bones probably won't take another Scottish winter sleeping outside at night in the garden. Every room in the house has soft furnishings, though, so he can't stay indoors. The cat bed was for an outhouse. Night one, he tipped it off the crate and pissed on it. We put it through the wash and dried it off. Night two, he left it on the crate and pissed on it. It's drying as we speak. One day the cat will finally breath his last and I'll probably miss him, but I'm sure I won't miss the smell of his urine which will be around for many years to come.Bed is alright, I suppose. fleecy and comfortable looking. He did make a beeline for it.

great little cat bed
Gobsmacked that the cat has decided to sleep in it! Our cat-bed avoider is 7 now and despite all efforts and, a variety of beds in the past, prefers the top of a cupboard, a laundry basket, a window-ledge, a coat left on the floor, one particular dining chair or, of course, any cardboard box it can find... This is a well made warm bed, fairly well padded and looks good. Solved the problem of where the cat sleeps by placing this within a shallow cardboard box, within a laundry basket and on a dining chair and she curls up most contented inside.

Cat prefers it with plastic carrier bag lining!
From cat: I duz not like the fleece under me as my clawsies get caught, but I haz used it a few times if my peoples puts a plastic carrier bag in it instead. I prefers the window sill actually. From cat's peoples: I think she is just a strange cat and doesn't like soft things. It's okay for when she goes to the cattery but I'm glad I didn't spend too much on it because she doesn't use it much. I would have preferred it to be washable but I don't think it is because the base is made out of a poor quality material. Next time, I'd probably go for something with hard sides that I can just put a washable bit of bedding in.

Not ideal for winter
It looks cheap . I would buy it if you are looking for a place where your pet can rest. However , don't buy it if your intention is to provide a warm place to sleep or rest during winter. Update: after a month of use , I realised that it’s great! I wouldn’t advice anyone to get a large since the quality drops drastically. However, the small size is spot on (My rabbit weights 1.5 kg )

Ugh
Well it ain't nothing like the picture! It comes vacuumed packed so there was hope that it would spring to live but as yet sadly not. On the plus side for us we bought it to shove under the bed to replace the one our 20yr rescue cat keeps puking in. We've taken this as a request for a new one but because of her age we're not going to spend hundreds. We took away the old one while she was beating the cr*p out the dog, her 2nd favourite pastime. Her first being waking you up , up to 5 times a night by throwing things of the bedside table , biting any bit of you she can find, puking on the floor or meowing at a million decibels down your ear. So the new bed is in place and she's sitting next to it, looking at it like a tu*d in her food. It's very thin and lumpy much like the cat to be fair. We'd have sent it back if it wasn't going under the bed. Here's a picture of the beast last summer in a happier mood. If the picture was taken now she'd crack the camera with her hatred

Mediocre
Nice looking, but feels very synthetic, and very floppy. Sides are low & soft, so if your dog likes an elevated arm rest to see what's going on, it won't work. Alfie is a digger, so has destroyed the inner pillow fairly quickly. Good for travel, as compresses well. Using as a spare, and have got a more expensive one for daily use. You get what you pay for I guess!

This looks cosy, although my cat has not slept in it as much as I would like. It is not as sturdy as I thought it would be, delivery on time.
