I needed a portable monitor to connect to my iPad while travelling. With the high resolution of the iPad I wanted something that would not look too out of place next to the iPad screen to have a multi screen setup. I like to sit outside and work in the summer so also wanted something that would be bright enough to handle being outside if we are lucky enough to get some good weather! The size is great for what I need at 16" which fits nicely into my carry on so it is perfect when travelling. The hard cover will protect it well when packed into the bag and stop any scratches to the screen. The cover folds out to make a stand which is ideal and you can adjusted the angle for viewing. Having the different inputs for the monitor is nice so you can run it on devices that use HDMI, for my application i can just plug straight into the USB C port and it just works. I might even use it on my desktop as a third screen while not travelling as the quality is really good and would be useful to put chat windows etc. on while working on the other two. I can't fault the 4K picture quality, the brightness is great and everything is adjustable so if you want to fine tune things you can. I don't need specific colour calibration and on my desktop, I have identical dual LG monitors which are slightly different on colour. Trying to match an iPad screen isn't realistically going to happen with most monitors but with that said I am very happy with the quality of the output. Very clear and what you would expect from a higher price range device, in my opinion, so I think for what I need it is good value for money, especially as there was a voucher available when I bought it. The packaging is good (can go straight in the recycle bin), all the cables you need are supplied, I can power the monitor and iPad from the monitor using the USBC which is great so don't need multiple adapters when working. It does power directly from the iPad but not sure how long the iPad battery would last running two screens, I guess a power bank would run it for longer when out an about if needed. I haven't tested that but don't see why it wouldn't work. All in all, very happy with it and would recommend it for anyone in the market for something like this.

Had it a couple of months now, and decided to do my civic duty and report back that it’s great. Really excellent build quality, metal body and very rigid glass screen with no flex at all. And the display is incredibly bright.

I've been using this for about 3 months now, and use it all the time whenever I go anywhere on business. So this monitor is really good if you make face to face presentations at locations which might not have a large display. I can show the same PowerPoint on both sides of the portable monitor, so they see what you see. I love that feature. It also has the ability to extend the monitor so that you have a massive portrait layout display. The only problem with this is, if you play a video and maximize the webpage e.g.: Youtube it will center the video in the middle of the screen and you will have the crease fold line through the video. You can manually adjust the webpage to be only in the top half or bottom half of the display though. It would be nice if each 'side' of the monitors could be treated as independent screens but it doesn't seem to be able to do this easily. I think you have to make use of two usbc's to do that in addition to the usb-c power cable. It has the ability but most laptops don't have enough usb-c slots. It seems easier to use with Windows machines than Macbooks from my experience. Sound quality is ok, but not great. Maybe marginally better than my work laptop's internal speakers. Nothing comparable to a Macbook though. Better than nothing - I would say. For the price, the display quality is good, but not great. Build quality is mostly metal and feels very solid as a result it does feel weighty. Think of it as the same weight as a similar sized laptop.

I am a frequent traveller so having a portable monitor is essential. These are massive dual monitors. I still need to get a carrying case for these (as 18.5+ inch laptop bags aren't that common). The good: - brightness is great - refresh rate is 100hz, which is ideal (60hz would look awful) What can be improved: - color accuracy isn't the best, but looks decent with some adjustments in the OSD - 1080p (would have been amazing for it to be 1440p, but I cannot knock stars for this) I ran into issues where the monitor would randomly go black - turns out the power adapter provided was defective, I swapped it with one of my 20W chargers and it worked fine. Keep in mind the charger they provided is 45W, so I would recommend using a charger at least 45W or higher.

I'm amazed by how light the monitor is and how bright the colour! I needed a second monitor for when I am travelling so bought this as it was relatively inexpensive and looked perfect for what I wanted. And it is! Easy to connect using USB c cable which was provided too. It fits neatly in my laptop bag and it means I can be a productive when away from my office.

Emphasis on the "little"; you're not gonna be using this screen for your main dev work, but for the right project (say, an Internet radio or alarm clock) it's perfect. The documentation is a little wanting, but that's true of just about anything Raspberry Pi, I'm afraid. (Specifically, more about how the touchscreen digitizer works would be welcome.) Overall, recommended! EDIT: This is no longer the same monitor I reviewed in 2019. These people are recycling their Amazon ASINs, which is a major no-no. Too bad, too, because what's currently there now looks pretty cool.

Ich habe mir diesen Monitor als zweiten tragbaren Bildschirm gekauft – mein erster war ein 17-Zoll-Modell mit 2K und 120 Hz. Der war zwar super, aber ehrlich gesagt oft einfach zu groß, um ihn spontan mitzunehmen. Genau da punktet dieser Newsoul-Monitor: kompakt, leicht und passt sogar in kleinere Taschen, ohne dass ich Tetris spielen muss. Beim Auspacken wirkt der Monitor direkt erstaunlich hochwertig. Die Verpackung erinnert ein bisschen an eine sehr bekannte Obst-Marke – schlicht, edel, aufgeräumt. Und dann war ich wirklich überrascht, dass alle Kabel, die ich brauche, bereits dabei waren, inklusive eines 20-Watt-Netzteils für externe Stromversorgung. Nutze ich bisher zwar nicht, weil alles problemlos über USB-C läuft, aber gut zu wissen, dass es da ist. Hinstellen, USB-C ran – fertig. Plug & Play im besten Sinne. Mein Laptop und mein Handy haben ihn sofort erkannt, kein Gefummel, keine Einstellungen, nichts. Genau so möchte ich das morgens haben, bevor der Kaffee wirkt. Die 4K-Bildqualität hat mich echt überrascht. Farben wirken klar und lebendig, und durch das matte Display kann ich auch unterwegs entspannt arbeiten, ohne ständig mein eigenes Spiegelbild zu sehen. Für Fotobearbeitung, Videos und Streaming macht das wirklich Spaß – da merkt man, dass die 4K-Auflösung sich absolut lohnt. Was ich inzwischen richtig gern nutze: den Monitor einfach per USB-C an mein Samsung-Handy hängen und den Desktop-Modus starten. Unterwegs fühlt sich das schon fast an wie ein kleiner Laptop. Und Filme schauen macht damit auch richtig Laune – gestochen scharf und angenehm hell. Die mitgelieferte Hülle fühlt sich robust an und dient gleichzeitig als Ständer, was super praktisch ist. Auch die Anschlüsse sind gut durchdacht, vor allem die beiden vollwertigen USB-C-Ports. Ein Kabel reicht – anschließen und loslegen. Genau so muss das sein. Kurz gesagt: Für mich die perfekte Mischung aus hochwertiger Optik, starker Bildqualität und echter Mobilität. Genau das, was ich gesucht habe – und ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Awesome touch monitor! Very high quality, the screen and included cables. Good touch response as well. Before VGA was 14" now it's 5 and works great. This display warrants adding more the the review later. I've wasted my money on other small resistive touch displays, I'm really appreciating the capacitive screen and the fact it doesn't look like I have an old gps screen on my desk.

ノートPCを新調するので、新しいノートPCに合わせて18インチのモバイルモニタを探していました。 皆様のレビューを拝見し、こちらを選択。 MAX 3840×2160 まで表示でき、3840×2160 にするとものすごい高精細！ 小さすぎて見えません(笑) ケーブル３本に加えて、USB-C用の電源アダプタもついており、スムーズに接続、使用できました。 スタンドの底面には滑り止めが貼ってあり、スタンドの硬さも程よくいい感じでした。 私の使い方的に、PCに接続しっぱなし状態で、モニタ電源OFFもしたいと思っていました。 このため、一番懸念していたのが「モニタの設定内容を電源OFF→ON後も記憶しておけるか」という点でしたが、問題なく記憶されており、本当によかった。 コストパフォーマンスは素晴らしいモニタだと思います。 結果的に何も不満なく、これにしてよかった！と思いました。
