Great Quality!
As a soap and bath and body product maker I am always looking for ways to improve and enhance the quality of my recipes. This crosspolymer is high quality and a great value to include in some of those recipes! It helps to thicken up my products and has a nice texture and feel. This is a great addition to your recipes!!

Good
Performs as expected. Used this in a conditioner and a face cream, both turned out exactly how I wanted. It's not a huge bag, but it's $12, and it should last a while.

Works For The Small Batch DIYer
I make a DIY mostly oil face cream. In the past, it would melt in hot weather so I got this thickener to make the cream thicker and also keep the oils and shea butter suspended better. Since using these Acrylates in my face cream, the appearance of my face cream is better and the texture feels better on my face. It has a thicker consistency most definitely and doesn’t appear simply as oils. I have to admit that I didn’t measure it. I simply put in just a little at a time until the appearance and thickness looked and felt right to me. I read about the correct amount to use. But since I only make my face cream one cup at a time, I felt more comfortable just going by appearance and feel. And with us DIYers make such small batches, this small container will last a long time! As far as how my cream will hold up in daily heat, since it is still winter, the true test will occur during the hot summer months. At that point, if it’s performance changes, I will update my review.

High Quality
Crosspolymer 50 GM - $12.99 This seems to be great quality. Very pure. Sadly, it's quite small. The photos were 'puffed out' or something to make it look fuller. It's super flat. I have a hard time understanding numbers of weight, volume, etc. and so this one fooled me. I thought there would be more. It's gluten free though, according to their website. And gluten free items are always more expensive. We have one with Celiac Disease, and she's just getting into makeup age. It occurred to us that she will never be able to wear most makeup. So we got this to start experimenting with making gluten free, wheat free makeup, soaps, and lotions for her. I wish there was more bang for the buck here, but at least it's a start!
