The Little Book of Safari Animal Sounds: Interactive sound book for young nature enthusiasts: Part of the Little Book of Sounds Series for Children Aged 3 to 8 Years

I discovered this book to read to my grandson as he was fascinated in animal sounds, like all small children are. The sounds are real and there is a photo and description of each animal. Amazingly, one of his first words was "baboon" as he pressed the baboon sound. We had concentrated on the lion of course so I didn't even know that he was taking in all the other names as well. I also have the garden bird book which helps us all recognise the bird calls heard in our garden. Wonderful books!

Great book . My 1 year old Grandson loves all the pictures & sounds. I couldn't get this book anywhere else. So glad to have now got it.

I have a 2 and a 4 years old nephew. Both of them love this book.

The sounds are loud and clear,however I found that most of them are not the best. The eagle sounds like a seagull, I was expecting a loud and clear trumpeting sound for the elephant but it is more like a distance vague noise, if it wasn't for the picture I would have not recognized neither the zebra nor the baboon. The sounds seem authentic, yet they are bit disappointing

Brilliant for any child who's into wildlife, both of my kids are into wildlife and enjoy watching David Attenboroughs series, the books use the real life sounds of the animal and include some good facts. They haven't put then down since they got them today. Will be buying all the ones in this series.

The book has great pictures and the sounds are so interesting. Must admit that I haven’t heard a zebra call before and played it over and over because it’s not what I was expecting. My grandson enjoys going to the zoo and I know for certain that he will love this book.

Compré este libro buscando libros de animales para mi bebé, que tuviera sonidos y las imágenes fueran realistas y aisladas. En ese aspecto ha sido todo un acierto. Las imágenes de los animales además quedan resaltadas del fondo. En la otra cara hay un texto que habla sobre los sonidos que ese animal emite, dónde vive, cuál es la esperanza de vida, etc. Datos que si el libro sobrevive serán muy interesantes para cuando mi bebé crezca. Como punto extra positivo, me encanta que hayan incluido a una rana, por ejemplo, que se salga de lo común. Como punto negativo, la presencia de sonido ambiental y en concreto, el elefante se oye menos que el resto. En general, lo recomendaría, dado que no he encontrado otro libro que cumpla estos requisitos que menciono al inicio.

This is the third book from this author we have purchased. My kids love all of them! Just the right amount of information to satisfy their curiosity, but not so much that they get bored. The sounds are high quality and accurate as far as I can tell. The buttons are easy to press for little hands. Perfect for ages 2-6 or so. These books make a very thoughtful gift for an animal lover!

Very realistic sounds & pictures. Children's favorite. Teaches them not only to recognize animal sounds, but also the animal names & other details. Very well constructed books. Perfect size for young & old alike. Thanks
