Very cool and fun model. Its a good size, smaller than the 2005 model but seeing how Lego has evolved it makes sense! Simple instructions, like most Legos. The mechanism to open the wings into attack mode is cool! The Star War RoS Lego sets have some nostalgic value for me however I do think the price for it is reasonable.

This ARC-170 Starfighter LEGO set is a fantastic addition to any Star Wars collection. The design feels solid, well thought out, and the build is smooth and fun from start to finish. I haven’t built previous versions of the ARC-170, but I really enjoyed this one—it looks great on display and has just enough features to make it stand out. The adjustable wings and triple cockpit give it that authentic Clone Wars feel. The stickers can be a bit tricky—especially around the cockpits—but with a steady hand and some patience, it’s not a big issue. The current price might be a bit high for a mid-sized set, so if you can, try to catch it on sale—I got mine with a discount, and it definitely felt more worth it. Whether you're collecting, building for fun, or just want a cool piece to show off, this set delivers.

My nephew has always loved LEGOs, so I bought this set for him as a gift. He is incredibly talented and managed to have the entire set built in less than eight hours! He absolutely loved it. It’s a great set for any Star Wars fan, and seeing how much he enjoyed building it made it a perfect purchase.

Legos are the best! Fun to build. A bit expensive... but that's a Lego thing.

Arrived on time in good packaging, would buy again

My son bought this for himself with chore money and put it together in a single day (he is 9). This build is super fun with the wings that move via a lever on the plane. My son was stoked with this one - but he is currently obsessed with all things LEGO Star Wars. 4-stars as for the price I was thinking it would take a bit longer to build. Glad we got it on a sale price, but for $55 I’d think it would take a bit more time to construct!

Love this set! Delivery and packaging was great we build each set but also keep each box for the future. This is a mid-larger build for us and like always easy to follow directions and a great look!

Fun set to build. For comparison, I included a photo of this kit (above) with the old 7259 set (below). The new set isn't as wide and it's slightly shorter. It doesn't have the bomb bay as the old set did. The wing mechanism was redesigned and doesn't use elastic bands anymore (an improvement in my opinion). The construction is a lot different. Interestingly despite being smaller, the new set has about 100 more pieces. Overall it's a fun set to build.

I love the ARC-170 and I knew that when this set came out, I had to add it to my collection. This set is not only a solid build, but the figures included are the best version we've seen. When the 2010 version came out, it included a Jedi, Kit Fisto, but this version I think is better for building an army as you get three clone pilots plus an awesome astro-mech droid too. The build is considerably smaller than the two previous iterations, which is a bit disappointing, but the piece count matches the price, especially if you can find it on sale. I would say it's the best in terms of playability, as the ship will not fall apart on you, but it would be nicer if it was larger like its predecessors.

If you are able to get this set on sale like I did, it is definitely worth picking up! The minifigures are great and the overall build quality of the ARC-170 is solid. It is a bummer that the window pieces aren’t printed so be careful when applying the stickers as they don’t look so great after being peeled.
