Bought this box as a standby box. Easy to use, already had Google Play so all you have to do is just put your username in and off you go.Looks - small and compact, like the apple tv, but has an advantage in a clock on the front (time set to wifi so no messing around)Remote - cheap android remote, better getting another like a riiSoftware - basic android so you can install apps from the Google play or downloaded from the internet. Kodi already installed, I'd advise uninstalling it and reinstalling from official site. Also available are emulators for classic games (don't ask me where from, Google them)16gb built in storage so plenty of room to install apps, 2 usb ports so if needed you could use a usb remote (like a rii) and a usb stick/hard drive at the same timeOverall this is a great little box, would suit a kids room for movies or gaming, kitchen for an alternative to freeview or even a in a living room/lounge as a mini media centre

Everything works really well... most of the time. Unfortunately it will randomly reboot and once every few days it will crash to white static and need to be powered off and back on. It's infrequent enough that I've tolerated it for over a year but it is annoying when in the middle of a movie and you have to load it up again and search for position again.Basically, unless you're getting a very good deal I wouldn't bother with this.

Clunky software. Nothing like android tv os. Netflix is touch screen version which is a massive pain in the backside. The wife refuses to use it. We have fibre internet yet it buffers constantly. Get an Nvidia shield tv. Far better but worth every penny more.Update 30 SeptUSB ports stopped working now, tried to do a factory reset.Further update- now stuck in in endless boot loop. Absolute garbage these things.

Have IPTV, Kodi and Terrarium on this for the TV upstairs in the bedroom.Get the keyboard remote of Amazon for £9.99 and it's perfect.

I didn't know about these until I got one. Really useful and will definitely buy more for the kids rooms. Much better than a chrome cast in my opinion as you can use it to play games off the app store also? I use it to watch movies, TV series etc
