Is this a main diet source for a parakeet?

I use it as a main food but also give millet and cut up fresh fruit and veg. I have a protein pellet too but they will not eat it. I have had them for almost 1 year since they were babies.

I have recently purchased a 25lb bag and confused about the expiration date printed on the bag. it shows " Best Before 06May20(a bar or letter)11"?

According to my wife, our 25lb bag states 06July19. Which is July 06 2019. Yours expiration date is May 06 2020. The 11 may be a number in a barcode but we're not for sure. We hope this helps.
