Not sharpened
Who sells an ax with no edge? This one came that way. Other than that I like it. Well built.

Heavy duty work horse
Used it to clear a neglected woodshed. Didn't realize we were on top of 2 bottom layers of logs until I put this guy to use. Also helped clear fire zone around the house. I'm getting older so a little heavy but that helped get in deep. Love it.

Not perfect but good all around tool.
This things takes a beating and only asked to be sharpened with a file once in a while. We live on rocky and rooted land. Gets the chopping and grubbing done.

Bent like putty
Arrived with dirty handprints with shrink wrap around the tool (no box). Rubber cover on regular ax end. Used for the first time today. Shocked to see not much of an edge on either end. Within first fifteen minutes of using I realized a corner had completely folded and I was working with a blunt object. Not sure what this is made out of but it ain’t ax material. I’ve never seen an ax fold like that. In addition to bending it also dented. From chopping small brush roots. Waste of money on what should have been a useful tool. Guess I’ll try to hammer out the bend and put an edge on it before it goes in the trash.

Great tool
This is one of the handiest outdoor/yard tools ever invented. Originally invented as a firefighting tool by Ranger Ed Pulaski after the devastating 1910 fire in Northern Idaho. It is the core tool for wildland firefighting, but also very useful around the yard.
