Ideal for a salt free diet
I am quite prone to accumulate liquids if I introduce salt regularly in my diet. However this salt free salt substitute gives flavour to my food without the problem of water retention. I recommend it! I have now been using it for more than a year without issue.

Interesting product
Tried this as trying to reduce the amount of salt. Tastes slightly different, not much, and better for health than normal salt.

A Sprinkle of the Good with a Dash of the Unpleasant - Herbamare Lo Salt Review
Herbamare Lo Salt by A.Vogel is a seasoning salt alternative, which boasts a blend of herbs and vegetables. For those familiar with the original Herbamare, this low-sodium version attempts to emulate its classic, rich flavors. Here’s a detailed review of Herbamare Lo Salt, considering its taste profile and how it stacks up against the original.Flavor & Aroma:The first thing you notice as you open the container is the pleasantly inviting aroma of aged vegetables and herbs. Much like its high-sodium counterpart, Herbamare Lo Salt's initial flavor does not disappoint. The blend of ingredients is reminiscent of a bouquet of fresh vegetables plucked straight from the garden. This initial flavor gives a sense of continuity for those who have been fans of the original Herbamare. The Bitter Truth:However, as the flavor evolves on the palate, an unwelcome guest enters the party. There is a distinct and prominent bitter, chemical taste that surfaces. This flavor is reminiscent of concentrated chemicals, likely due to the potassium chloride used as a sodium substitute. It is akin to taking a blissful stroll through a lush vegetable garden and suddenly stumbling into a storage shed of cleaning agents.Comparison to Original Herbamare:For those who have had the pleasure of using the original Herbamare, the comparison is inevitable. The rich, aged vegetable flavor is present in the Lo Salt version but is marred by the bitter aftertaste. The original Herbamare, with its higher salt content, has a more rounded and delectable taste profile without the bitterness.Recommendation:If sodium intake is not a critical concern for you, I would highly recommend opting for the original Herbamare to avoid the unpleasant bitterness in the Lo Salt version. The additional expense is worth it for a superior flavor experience.A Suggestion to A.Vogel:Considering the potential of Herbamare Lo Salt, A.Vogel could possibly work on a 50/50 moderate salt version, combining sodium chloride with a reduced amount of potassium chloride. This could help to retain the aged vegetable flavor while minimizing the bitterness, creating a more balanced and appealing seasoning option. Conclusion:Herbamare Lo Salt attempts to provide the flavors we know and love from the original Herbamare, but with reduced sodium. While it starts off on the right foot, the bitter chemical aftertaste is hard to ignore. If sodium intake is not a priority and your budget allows, stick with the original Herbamare for an unadulterated flavor experience. For A.Vogel, the creation of a moderate salt version could be a potential game-changer.

Excellent non-sodium alternative
This is a high quality product for which of course you pay a steep price. Nevertheless, it gets you off sodium albeit by using potassium instead but depending on your K levels that could be really beneficial in terms of controlling high blood pressure. Has a slightly chemical tinge to the flavour but that is only if you taste it "raw" - on food it's hard to tell the difference.

Low salt
I thought I give it a try as it is the low salt, although I prefer the flavour of the original Herbamare, hence the 3 star.
