When is a plain sock not merely a run-of-the-mill sock? When it's a Glenmuir Classic Bamboo Plain Sock. This triple pack of socks might be plain in style, but they're full of great features like hand linked toes for smooth seams, gentle tops and because they are made with Bamboo viscose, they're great for your feet. Glenmuir Bamboo socks feel silky soft against the skin and the natural benefits of the fibres means the socks help control odour by being antibacterial and are more breathable than Cotton, able to absorb moisture and cool through evaporation. You'll never go back to 'ordinary' socks again!(04/12)

Anti whiff socks
Socks fit fine and are comfortable. Probably more comfortable than cotton socks. They are very soft. The real plus point which I hadn't factored when buying is my feet don't smell. A bit gross to discuss, but leather shoes or trainers for me stank to high heaven typically. I have bought these socks twice in the last year and just noticed recently, I no longer have cheesy feet! The only bad point is the durability. They wear through at the back after 6 months for me and moult dreadfully. I have pale carpets and there is black sock fluff everywhere for the first few weeks after purchase. But I think that is a small price to pay for having shoes with a more socially accept level of whiff.

Not as good as expected. Not worth the money!
I bought these with high expectations as I had already bought three pairs of grey Glenmuir socks and found them exceptional. The earlier purchase had an embroidered emblems whereas these have cheap stick on ones (several of them were crooked too so I just pulled them off) and the quality of the material is nowhere near as good as the earlier ones.If these had been as good as the socks I bought previously (for the same price) this would be a glowing review. It's not that they are bad, just nowhere near as good as the others, they feel more like cheap supermarket socks so not good value for money.

Feel like lambswool
Whilst wearing bamboo socks might sound rather odd to the uninitiated, on a blind test you might think they were made of lambswool because they are so soft. They wash well and retain their shape (unlike many socks which shrink in the wash). My only criticism is that they don't last as long as wool or cotton, but at this price, who cares?

Well fitting and very comfortable
Lovely socks. They fit really well, are very comfortable and are a nice thickness for this type of socks, which are often tracing paper thin. They also seem to work well with hard use and "wick" well. The Glenmuir label falls off almost immediately, but this doesn't affect the wearability at all.

Enthusiastic about socks!
Okay - it might be my age but I just love these socks, they are so comfortable - I was first struck by their touch and practicality when browsing in a shop so purchased a black pack. They've quickly become my favourite socks (sad I know) so I've daringly expanded to brown; the nicest socks I've had in years, if ever! I just hope they last. Service from the seller was quick & efficient & I'd certainly use again, Recommended.

Excellent socks
Excellent quality socks. I have bought Glenmuir before and they are great value for money. They are well made and wear well. These are even more comfortable and I am told that they manage to keep your feet warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather.

Really comfy socks and keep feet feeling good in warm weather
Really comfy socks and keep feet feeling good in warm weather. My main gripe is that I had a hole in one pair at the end of the day after the first wear. However bamboo socks seem to be a bit more delicate than other materials so they wear out quicker.

Old Ones Were Better
I bought some a while back and they were the best socks I'd ever worn. They were thick on the heel an toes and didn't become threadbare at all. The newer versions however are cheap imitations while soft at first they become worn and bare in a matter of weeks. Also the logo drops off after a day. Not like the old ones in the picture that are embroidered.

Tragekomfort

Perfekte Anzugsocken
Was soll man zu Socken schon groß sagen?
