Adventure Awaits! - Handmade Wood Toy Crossbow Set - 10 Wood Arrows and a Quiver - for Outdoor Play

Bought this for my adventurous 5 year old daughter for Christmas, but all my kids love to play with it. Very well made. Works super well. Sturdy. Great for some target practice or just some imaginative play. It has earned all the stars in my book. Love that it comes with so many arrows and quiver. It has taught my kids basic safety skills and has built their confidence.

I used this in our production of The Addams Family. I played Wednesday and it was perfect! My one complaint is I had to build my own arrows since the groove in the crossbow was too deep for the arrows provided. It was an easy fix though! I bought some dowels, cut them down and glued some pieces of foam to look like an arrow. Highly recommend to buy if anybody is in The Addams Family and looking for a Wednesday crossbow!

My son was born loving tools of all kinds and this crossbow is a big hit. No problem handling it solo. Wish it was a little better made. Unlike the picture on amazon, the bow we received was made with a thin curving wooden tongue that allows some flexible pressure at the base of the arrow channel. I think the design is good but the tongue was already starting to split when we got it. Manufacturer should make it easy to get a replacement tongue. The tongue is attached with 2 small screws. If this item survives heavy use I would give it 5 stars.

My teenage son absolutely loved this now and arrow set! Such quality! It's sturdy and we'll made. He had a small issue with the arrow tips coming loose. I contacted the company nearly two years later and they immediately replied to me and told me that they would send out an entire new set of arrows and arrow tips. They went above and beyond with the customer service they provided me and there were no questions asked and no stipulations! Wonderful company, wonderful customer service! They seem to really care about their customers! I would HIGHLY recommend this company and their products!

There was a crack in the wood on the handle but the return and exchange process was very easy. My grandson loved the crossbow!

Got this for my 4 year old. The youngest age that can properly operate it I think. He has fired several hundred bolts (arrows) through it and it’s been perfect. Also when he got his fingers to high and they got hit by the sting it may have caused a few tears but he only paused for a few seconds before firing again. I am happy to have received such a good product at such a low price. I will purchase other products for gifts for sure. Also my buddies and I have a lot of fun shooting cans after the kids go to bed.

Well made, great toy. However, if you were looking at this toy because you are interested in non-toxic wooden toys, I would just like to inform you that the arrow tips are made of some type of rubber material that smells strongly of tar and gasoline. I removed them because the smell was horrible and just from touching them my hands smelt horrible and I had to wash a few times to remove the smell. Definitely something to consider especially if you have little one who could easily pull off the tip and chew or even swallow it!!!

the bolt holes for the two main pieces were misaligned by about 3 mm requiring a bunch of sanding because I did not want to re drill it and have it be loose. the flight groove is off center of the limbs. Not sure if this one was poor QC or what but it's a disappointment.
