The bag holder is great for helping put away left overs or preparing recipes for a slow cooker. The box coming with various sized freezer bags is also handy. I thought the item was easy to use and bought it as a gift for a family member also.

Well worth paying. Bags are strong and reusable several times over. Top remains secure, for both liquids and solids great space saver in freezer much better than using carton. Easy to use for soups and stews by using the little stand. I use the medium and small sizes more than large as when batch cooking I seperate food into 2 person portions

Seemed like a good idea, good quality bags, the stand is not that sturdy and I found it tricky to use so sadly it isn’t used. The bags have been used, washed and re-used but do split along the zip together bit sooner than I would have hoped

Good sturdy bags, three sizes, total seal, no leakage. Bag holder makes a big difference in filling the bags for batch cooking.

Bags are fine and the holder. But why put freezer labels which when frozen promptly fall off. Waste of time writing on them. The pens pretty useless too

I've removed one star simply because the pen provided didn't work. This is a shame as it's a decent double-ended marker but both the thin and the wider end had dried up. With regards to the rest, I would award 5 stars. 50 bags of 3 different sizes with zip locks which make the bags leak-proof. They also have white panels for writing on the contents. Also provided is 50 paper stickers which, as the bags are reusable, would be handy once you've run out of writing space. There is a handy stand with a sturdy base that has a rubber surround and extendable arms for filling the bigger bags. This is genius as it makes it much easier to fill them. We used to use tupperware boxes for our batch cooking and leftovers but found they take up a lot of room and the contents take a long time to defrost. These lay flat in the freezer and will defrost quicker as the contents are less dense. I can't comment on how easy they are to wash out and re-use as I haven't done this yet but I think these are an absolute must for any household.

The bags are about the same quality as name brand bags and are somewhere between a gallon-size "storage" thickness and a gallon-size "freezer" thickness (name brand). They seem to have good closures which might last a while if washed and re-used. The variety in sizes is nice. I appreciated the labels and pens, which are much better than a permanent marker on the plastic. I like the stand, and have already used it when freezing cooled soup in a larger bag for multiple dinner portions. It's a nice extra set of hands! It folds flat for storage. This might be a nice kit for someone moving into their first place or a college student.

There good quality

I loved being able to buy three sizes of zip bags, and was impressed by the quality of these. They're thicker than the bags I usually get, and I have washed and reused them several times and they hold up. They are easy to zip up--easier than the name brand, I think. I did have one bag where the zipper split from the plastic but I'm guessing that was a fluke since the rest have been fine. Here's the part I don't like: for me, I don't need another pen and a bunch of labels, when I can just write on the bag. And the stand might be useful if you were filling up a whole bunch of bags with rice or something, but it's basically pointless for the majority of things I'm going to be putting in a bag, like a sandwich or cookies. So now I have this extra plastic thing lying around. And what happens if I want to buy this assortment again? Because I definitely WOULD buy it again, if it were just the bags, but I don't want to get yet another plastic thingy and more labels and a pen I don't need. So, 5-stars for the bags themselves, but I could do without the "extras."

This comes as a complete set for preserving food in the freezer. It includes fifty bags of differing sizes, a pen and labels, and a bag rack. The bags are thicker than the regular Ziplock freezer bags, so they can be used more than once. I do not see myself using them that many times. Washing out and drying freezer bags is a step I can see being good at now, while they are new, but know the habit will fade away in time. I use a Sharpie directly on bags so the pen and labels are in the junk drawer for now. The bag stand is great. I already own a few of these and will use this one as long as it holds up. To me, these things are genius in trying to pack more than one bag. When I make soup, I have these stands ready to go on the counter, with bags and just go down the line packing them. It's a nice set, but I don't see buying it again.
