Perfect for my RV solar system.
I installed this unit in my new fifth wheel along with a 800ah lithium battery bank, a 1.2kw solar array and dual 60 amp solar controllers. I haven't had any of the problems others have reported. Seems to power both legs of my 50 amp service (I haven't found anything not powered up) no back feed to the shore power plug, charges at full amps when required. Runs tv, sat, full size frig, lights and one of the a/c units for 3 hours without having any overheat issues. I can hear the fans in the compartment but not inside. I haven't been to a 30 amp campsite so I can't review the power sharing feature but it seems easy to set up when you need it. The remote panel is mandatory especially if you have lithium batteries since you can only set up charge profiles through panel. Overall I am very impressed. I expected some problems with all of the bad reviews but so far haven't had any. I will check back after several months of use. Dave, Toledo, OH

Great customer support
I wanted to take a moment to write a review and thank Go Power for your great customer support. I have had the Go Power IC3000 for 34 months. It worked flawlessly until then. Then I started getting errors. Since the IC3000 has a 36month warranty I contacted Go Power support. They had me do a few things and take a few voltage readings and then said that he believes the unit had a bad relay inside. Told me to write up everything that we did and a description of the problem in an email to support. along with a copy of proof of purchase and in 4 days I had a new IC3000 invertor. That is what I call great customer service. Just wanted to make sure and let everyone know and once again thank you Go Power for your great support and customer service.

Does what it says it will do!
I bought the IC3000 about 3 months ago, We wanted to set up our 5th Wheel to be able to boondocks, I have 300ah of lithium batteries, 400 watts of solar and 5500 watt generator. Living in S.Texas, it was difficult to find a tech who understood how these Charger/Inverters work. I finally got one to the house and when he read the directions, he looked at me and said, this will be easy! My tech did talk with Go Power and they were very helpful! You must buy the remote!, I spoke with the Go Power Techs to set it up and they too were extremely Nic enamors and helpful. (THie directions are not bad, I just was ignorant about how my batteries would need to set up in the remote) The batteries will run the entire trailer! Because of the install method, no rewiring was required! (Like when you just put in a regular inverter) The IC3000 worked as advertised and I have been trying to convince everyone who wants to boondock, this is the The Solution. BTW, my remote did quit and Go power sent me another, one free of charge! GO buy it!

This inverter surpasses our old inverter !
We are very happy with this inverter. We replaced a 2000 W pure sine inverter. We used to just plug in our camper to that one. This one is hard wired in. Which was easy enough to do ourselves. We can now run our coffee pot and toaster at the same time. We can run the microwave as well. We never used to be able to do that before. We can also run a hair dryer on high and hot heat. Before we could only run low and cool heat, occasionally warm heat. We also love the fact that when we run the generator it charges the battery bank. We use 4 VMAXSLR 125 batteries. We love the inverter charger remote (purchased separately). We feel it is essential to have with this inverter. You can do so much more with the inverter by having this. We really think it should come with the inverter. We are very happy with this inverter. We did a lot of research before we chose this one and it was definitely the right choice!

Poor design
AC posts are awkwardly designed and are challenging to connect 50 amp lines to it. The biggest flaw is it doesn't have a separate dc voltage monitor feed from the battery. So if the batteries are more than a couple of feet from the inverter, it will go into a low voltage shut down under a high load. Most we get is 1000 watts from it. Also, the remote is worthless! You still have to kill power to it to reset it on an AC error. So you have to manually turn off your generator or breaker.

Note on Onan generators see description
The media could not be loaded. It seems to work fine but you may have problems when using with a Onan generator. If it causes the generator to shut down when the charger is on you must change the way it charges to “Float mode”. Multi mode causes phase fluctuations and the generator will shut down to protect everything.Update. 2/21/20 It seems to slowly increase the changing voltage over time but I’m working with support to fix the problem.

Good job
The one to buy works great

Not sure yet
It’s kinda useless to have the extra features like power share but only have them work on one of the hot wire lines and not both.
