My First Makaton Symbols and Signs Book 2: Bk. 2 Paperback – Illustrated, 30 Sept. 2010

Was very annoyed to pay so much for a very slim book especially since it arrived with a sticker on it showing nearly ten pounds less than I paid. I feel that the company is profiteering from parents whose children have special needs even although they said they were giving a contribution to charity. The book has hardly any words in it and I assume it is more for the children to use rather than the adults. I paid far too much for it. There was a website on the letter though and I got book number one directly from the company at a far cheaper price.

This is a great book to start learning signs with. The signs are clear and I like the way it helps you to string, a signing sentence together at the back of the book. Just a shame there isn't that many words, in each book. However its a great book to learn from.

It a great book gd for first time signers and symbols or if ur getting bk in to sign language and symbols

This is an excellent series of books - the pictures are beautifully drawn and the symbols are clear. There are helpful notes of details of some signs e.g. and wiggle fingers.They are a great introduction to Makaton.

We bought this book having seen Book 1. Lovely clear illustrations.Highly recommended if you want to try baby signing. Highly recommended. Definitely shall be ordering book 3
