A five-star Elvis compilation. I read a couple of reviews and this was recommended as being the best two disc compilation of the great man's work. I don't think it's currently available new, but my second-hand copy from the Amazon marketplace (Zoverstocks) was as good as new and arrived quickly. I had another compilation in the past (that I've misplaced) and there are certainly some fantastic tracks that appear on these discs that were not on my original collection. Of course all the classics are here: from Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog and Jailhouse Rock to I Can Dream, Suspicious Minds, Always on My Mind and The Wonder Of You. There are some live tracks on the second disc of simply astounding quality - Elvis's vocals and the sound of the orchestra on I Just Can't Help Believin'... well it just floors me. The only shortcoming is that there are basically no liner notes. There's a couple of attractively presented quotes by Bruce Springsteen and John Lennon and the track listing but that's it.

I purchased this album after losing my Dad as he loved Elvis, I haven’t been able to play it until today and when I opened it I have two of the first albums and one second album so I’m missing the third album. I understand it’s a mistake and 2 first album’s have been put in. Trying to contact Amazon but can’t find how to

The 50 Greatest Hits is a compilation album by American singer Elvis Presley, originally released on 18 November 2000. It features 50 of Presley's best known songs and was re-released on 11 August 2017 to mark 40 years since his death.

Of course it's a great album, though some of the old ones are so short! (i should have remembered!) The packaging was inadequate however, the case was cracked, the point of impact, whatever it was, creating a star-shaped crack. Not enough to be bothered with the hassle of returning, but irritating just the same.

The 50 greatest hits album by Elvis Presley is a great compilation covering songs of the period from Heartbreak Hotel to Moody Blue. Presley fans will enjoy the quality of this production. The album was in excellent condition and promptly delivered.

What can be said about Elvis, to anybody who is a fan? Have loved the voice and looks of this gorgeous man since I was 14 and this CD is so evocative of those early years, containing magical recordings all of which transport me back in time - great to listen to anywhere you are. Would buy from this supplier again - the product came swiftly and was well wrapped.
