what is the demensions of the cape? I want a very large one.

It depends on your height, I am short but the cape should cover your "derriere" as it is shown in the picture. I must warn you that is not jeweled, as the description says. The ornaments are painted, so i was looking for one jeweled and if you are ok with the painted ornaments, you can find a cheaper cape. When I asked to return the cape because is not jeweled they did not accept my complain and I couldnt return it. Be careful.

Will this fit a small child or would it be too big?

My adult son wore it so I think it would be too big for a small child.

Can you sew snaps on the cape

I sewed several things to the cape with no issues. Arm cuffs for me to run my arms through so I wouldn't have to grab the cape. I put an extra seam around the edge and also an extra piece on the neck.
