So pretty for easter/spring

I have actually learned to love this polish. When I first got it last year for Easter, I had a hard time making it work. But now I've practiced and learned some new things. In these photos I put on 4 layers instead of the typical 3 to make the colors pop more. I've learned when applying this dip, I keep tweezers handy. So in the first 2-3 layers, if any of the big chunks of color don't lay flat immediately on their own, I use tweezers to remove them right away. This makes it smoother and easier for applying additional layers of powder without ruining the application liquids and without ruining the brush used to remove excess powder around the nail bed. Once I started using that method, it applies much easier, lasts better, and overall looks better.

This dip powder set was Wonderful.. I applied 2 coats of clear dip powder and 3 of each color in the set. From right to left my Thumb is purple, Next is white, pink, green, then pinky is orange.. I did not buff due to not wanting to dislodge the speckles in the powder.. I finished with the top coat.. I also have cuticle oil on as well. Lol.. Overall I'm Soo pleased with the outcome.. My favorite brand is Azurebeauty...

Love the way it looks! But there is definitely a learning curve. 2 tips for first time use - shake the powders, instead of stirring. When I stirred, all the big pieces of glitter went to the top, resulting in big sparkles near the cuticle that are hard to seal. Second tip - put a clear layer of powder on top to smooth out the surface! If you file directly on top of the sparkles, it removes the color.

UPDATE: its been one day and it's already cracked... I will give it one more shot with 3 coats. If it still cracks. I am returning... Its a fun sparkle idea but unfortunately it's very hard to control where the the bulk of the sparkle goes (which makes uneven surface on the nail) Additionally, it is very sheer (if not clear) which is far from what is depicted in the product page (that looked more jelly color). However, it is still cute so ill keep it.
