This has a wonderful flavor. We transfer it to a spray bottle and spray it on our popcorn. It may be more expensive here on Amazon than in your grocery store.

I wanted a versatile cooking oil that could handle high heat and decided to try this garlic avocado oil. I'd heard good things about avocado oil, and the added garlic flavor really intrigued me. I've been using it for sautéing veggies and drizzling over roasted dishes. The garlic flavor adds a nice touch without being overwhelming. The high smoke point makes it reliable for grilling and frying, plus it’s nice that it’s keto and paleo friendly. One downside is that the squeeze bottle can sometimes pour out more than intended, which can be a bit messy. Also, while the garlic taste is great, it might not suit every dish depending on what you're making. This is shockingly good. I like avocado oil as I feel it is better for you than any seed oil, so I use a lot of that and olive oil. This isn’t a blend, but is pure avacado oil (aside from the garlic extract). Any worries I had about the garlic not being strong enough were unfounded, as the garlic level is perfect. I first tried this with air-fried potato wedges from some Golden Yellow potatoes and they were delicious – and I know I used less salt than I would have if I had used a garlic salt in the seasoning instead. This oil is great in roasted veggies (again, you can control the salt and any other seasoning) and even as a spread for homemade broiled garlic toast (I pre-slice and freeze the bread I’m going to use so the oil can be spread on the frozen bread without soaking through in one spot; add a bit of salt and other seasonings and it’s much better and healthier than any garlic bread you can buy in a store). Really, this is a great product. This is my third item from Chosen Foods in the past three years and I’ve given all of them five stars. I definitely like this company.

I love avocado oil and was excited to try this out on my salads. It is very garlicky! I think with age and GI issues, my garlic tolerance has gone down so it's a bit much for me. Additionally, my partner hates garlic and the smell of this is just overwhelming. It will make entire areas smell! That's all not the oil's fault though so I will give it to my neighbors. It does seem like a good quality oil. I prefer my oils in glass bottles, but I know that's Chosen's whole schtick. My one issue is with the bottle seal. It has a teeny, tiny pull tab and it just wouldn't come up. I tried tweezers but it still took awhile for me to get it off and ultimately tore in half. Please make a pull tab on your seal that actual fingers can use!

I have tried this oil for both cooking and to dip sourdough bread in and really enjoyed it both ways. The garlic flavor is noticeable but not too terribly strong. I'm obsessed with garlic so I actually wish it was a little stronger, but I think the majority of people would not want it stronger. I've cooked with it on med-high heat and it didn't seem to scorch or anything. I would recommend this oil. My rating scale: 1 star: Horrible product. If I had paid for this, I would be upset. 2 stars: Pretty bad but not quite horrible. I would not reorder. 3 stars: Just ok. It could have been better, but it also could have been worse. 4 stars: Good! A solid product that met my expectations. ****5 stars: Very good and/or a great value! I would definitely reorder.*****
