Best gel ever
This gel is fantastic when my cat scratches his ear or chin and creates a sore. Heals within 24 hours! Yes the nozzle is dreadful, but when it clogs up you just need to get a thickish needle and pierce it through the spray hole. Nozzle will start working again!

Excellent product, poor dispenser
The product itself is fantastic - really helpful in treating a chronic lesion on my dog. However halfway through every bottle (3 so far), the trigger spray seizes up and refuses to dispense anymore, particularly on the spray setting. It works much less well if you have resort to applying by hand. I have tried cleaning out the trigger head, but it still fails. Really annoying. The product is worth the money, but becomes less so if you can only get half of it out of the bottle

It worked on my dog
My dog had bits of fur missing on his back and it helped it grow back

Really works
I had never heard of this before when my cat came home with an exploded abscess on his head (again) he puts up as good a fight against going to the vets as he does against his local cat ‘enemies’ that cause the vet visits. Unfortunately my cat kept reopening the scab and over a week the scar just got bigger rather than smaller. In desperation I googled anything I could use to help rather than the dreaded vet and ordered this. From the first time I used it on Marmalade (I sprayed it on my finger and wiped it on the wound and he was fine with this) he stopped scratching at it and within a couple of days it was healing. When he came home with yet another face wound yesterday I was glad it was in the cupboard!!!

Really works
Excellent product to keep handy for any minor wounds. Definitely works - it heals cuts, scratches, hot spots etc...within a matter of days and stoped my dog from being bothered by itching or irritation while it heals. I wouldn't be without this now that I've found it.

Inadequate spray nozzle
The product itself is fine, however the bottle dispenser is not. It works for a day or so, then no longer flows through to the spray as it is too thick for the nozzle. It then requires removing the top and applying with cotton wool pad or similar.

Solution To The Nozzle Clogging
Hi, This gel is great, however, like many people mine clogged up when about three-quarters full or more. The solution I've found was to use the nozzle from the 250ml Renasan First Aid+ spray which I bought from Amazon, also very good for precleaning and is almost empty now. I cleaned it through by immersing it in warm water (keeping the pump above the water to spray). Although the inner mechanism is wider (at least twice as wide), the cap fitting is the same for the 120ml bottle which I have, and possibly for the 500ml. After vigorous shaking of the gel (which seems to thin it enough for spraying), I now have a more dispersive spray (which may not suit everyone's needs) and looking forward to the next spraying around a pigeon's foot & leg. There is a dial above the cap which must be set directly above the arrow above the word OPEN to function, then move from that to close to preserve contents. Renasan First Aid+ is also vet approved. Obviously, you can experiment with any other nozzles, cleaning them through, thoroughly of course. I tried to clean through the original pump too with plain warm water, but so far no joy. Perhaps too, I'll find a pump-style spray at home or online to transfer to the Vertercyn Plus VF and Skin Care Hydrogel. I will also look for a nozzle that can be set at a dispersive spray or a straight line. It's worth the effort for this gel and the creatures needing it. I hope that helps those who like me have the clogged-up pump spray nozzle.
