After trying another well-known outdoor watch, I decided to replace it with the Garmin Instinct AMOLED, and I’m delighted that I did. The watch is far more intuitive to use, with clearly thought-out menus and simple button operation that works brilliantly for walking and hiking. The AMOLED display is superb—bright, colourful and exceptionally easy to read in all conditions. The activity tracking has inspired much more confidence, and the data appears both sensible and consistent. Although it needs charging, the battery life is still excellent, lasting around a couple of weeks with my normal use. Overall, this is a rugged, comfortable watch that strikes an excellent balance between outdoor capability and everyday wear. Highly recommended.

I sat on the fence for weeks over whether to replace my failed WearOS watch with another whilst worrying about battery life. I looked at Non WearOS watches that fixed the battery life issue but often poor quality apps and random vendors. Garmin, well known in the fitness space, definitely not what I'm using it for (a smart watch with sleep tracking, spo2, steps, and notifications). Very happy with the watch, a week in and battery still saying I've got another few days from the first charge. Apps work fine. Very happy.

Great improvement on instinct 2x love the amoled screen

Love it. The light is incredibly useful. To start with I thought it was a bit gimmicky. 6 months later, it is worth the upgrade from my old forerunner just for the light. I originally upgraded from my old garmin for the breadcrumb mapping feature, which works well. If garmins app (software) was as good as their hardware it would be brilliant. Unfortunately, their app and software are pathetic, regularly breaking and stops communicating with the watch for notifications. Garmin don't seem to care. If you owned garmin stuff before, you'll understand it's a trade you have to make. Still take a garmin over a smartwatch any day. 2 week battery life is what keeps garmin getting my money. Feck charging a watch everyday, that's not something im gonna buy into.........

Great watch, nice colourful screen. Tracks my weightlifting workouts, rucks , runs and walks. Great for sleep stats, HRV body battery and has loads of metrics. Solid and hard wearing so good for my physical Job. Battery lasts well.

As nice as this smart watch is, I couldn't wear it for more than half an hour before my hand started to go numb. I tried loosening off the strap a bit but it made no difference. I even tried a Garmin nylon strap that I already had, no change. I have an Instinct 2 and that's fine, so looking closer at the two watches I could see that new version's sensor is a lot more pronounced and it's that which is pressing down on the nerves in my wrist. Terrible design and makes it unwearable for me. Even after removing the watch, my hand was numb and even painful. I couldn't understand why no one else has commented on this issue until I did a wider online search and found a ton of complaints about this. So, be very wary when buying if you have relatively flat wrists like me. I have 18cm wrists by the way. Sadly, and I mean that as I really wanted to keep it, I had zero choice but to return it and will stick with my Instinct 2 and hope the 4th version will have this dreadful design changed. I hope this review helps people make the right buying choices.

It's rugged, doesn't feel like you've got a block of glass strapped to your wrist that might shatter at any moment. The battery life and UI are great for me, simple but plenty capable, I went to a more full featured smart watch for a while from a big phone brand and couldn't stand having it on charge all the time, and found no use from all its extra abilities. I would, and have in fact, recommend Garmin watches to my family and friends.

La batería me ha sorprendido gratamente, ya que dura hasta 24 días en modo inteligente, lo que permite olvidarse de cargarlo constantemente incluso con un uso activo. La pantalla AMOLED de 1,3'' ofrece una visualización clara y nítida, con colores vivos y buena visibilidad en diferentes condiciones de luz. Lo que más me ha gustado: 1- La durabilidad y resistencia del diseño, con cristal resistente a arañazos y bisel metalizado, que aportan confianza para usarlo en cualquier entorno. 2- La precisión del GPS multibanda y las funciones avanzadas de monitorización de salud, como frecuencia cardiaca, sueño y Pulse Ox, que me ayudan a controlar mejor mi estado físico. 3- La linterna integrada con luz blanca y roja es un detalle práctico para actividades nocturnas o de poca luz. 4- La integración con Garmin Pay para pagos sin contacto, que aunque requiere configuración con el banco, es una función muy cómoda. Puntos menos positivos: Al principio, la interfaz basada en botones puede resultar poco intuitiva y requiere un tiempo de adaptación, sobre todo para usuarios acostumbrados a pantallas táctiles. Además, la gran cantidad de funciones puede ser abrumadora al inicio y configurar algunas opciones como las notificaciones o Garmin Pay puede necesitar paciencia. Tips útiles: - Dedica tiempo a configurar la app Garmin Connect y personalizar los perfiles deportivos y notificaciones para optimizar el uso. - Ajusta el brillo y los modos de batería para maximizar la autonomía según tus necesidades. - Aprende los accesos rápidos de los botones para manejar el reloj con soltura. - Aprovecha las métricas avanzadas para mejorar tus entrenamientos y recuperación. En resumen, el Garmin Instinct 3 es un reloj deportivo de alta gama, con excelente autonomía, pantalla de calidad y funciones completas para deporte y salud. Su construcción robusta y diseño pensado para exteriores lo hacen una opción muy recomendable, especialmente para quienes valoran la precisión y durabilidad en un smartwatch.

I just bought the Garmin instinct 3 50mm Amoled model, just open the box, charged fully and downloaded the Garmin connect App, paired the device but smart watch don’t even open, the application keep running for more then 2hrs , I had to return the watch since it’s faulty, very bad experience buying watch from Amazon , please show extreme caution buying smart watch from Amazon , with sad heart, I must spend my time repacking the watch and claiming my money , I had taken the clip which keep repeating for ever with all good blue tooth, network and phone , watch paired well, there is no glitch or conflict in IPhone setting . Hope they don’t ship defective items to customer

Love this watch, has everything you need. I was looking at the data as I use for running and it has the same run features as the more expensive 265. The torch and redshift actually come in handy too. Battery life is fantastic, getting 2 weeks and that’s also using it for 1-2 hr daily activities
