Works as it should. As others mentioned the magnet is weak so have to be careful not to knock them off. Looks much better than tape and a hand written marker. Only get 2 magnets per movement. So if you want to mark your spotters as well as J Cups you will need to buy 2 packs

I like the idea behind the Mikolo Squat Rack Magnetic Position Markers — to make adjusting J-hooks and safety arms easier without having to count holes every time. The magnets are decent and stick well enough on most parts of the rack, and they definitely save a bit of time during setup. That said, the magnets could be stronger. They sometimes slide a bit or fall off if the rack gets bumped. Overall, they’re a handy little accessory if you’re trying to stay organized, but they feel a bit more “nice to have” than “must have.” With stronger magnets or a better grip design, they’d easily be a 5-star product.

If you have a power rack without numbered holes and need to change your J-hook and safety hook heights for different exercises or users, this is a must have. as useful as postits & paper clips. Also the price is so low that you can’t lose.

When the adjustable cable levers go up and down the rack, these magnets come right off. They do not stay in place and are not at all useful if you use the cable levers.

I bought these Mikolo magnetic position markers for my Mikolo squat rack hoping they’d make it quick and easy to mark consistent spots for my J-hooks and spotter arms. They fit around the holes perfectly, so no issues there. But that’s the only thing they got right. The magnets are way weaker than I expected. Just adjusting my J-hooks brushes them right off the rack. When I move the cables they scrape the markers completely off. I really wanted these to work. If the magnets were much stronger and the markers were thin enough for the cables to slide past without knocking them off, they’d be great. Unfortunately, as they are right now, they were a complete waste of money for me. I’ll probably just mark my positions with a Sharpie instead. It won’t look as nice, but at least it will actually stay put. If you frequently adjust your attachments or move cables on a Mikolo rack (or similar), I’d skip these. Double-check how your rack setup works with cables and hooks before buying — these only work if nothing ever touches them.

These are a really cool idea. I wish the magnet was a bit stronger because they fall off with basically a stiff breeze. I do like using these to mark the holes I use on my budget rack which doesn't have numbered holes. You get a good variety too! They come in doubles that are color coded. Clever idea, almost perfect execution.

easy to slap on the holes and it fit my HulkFit cage. really nothing more to say, decent price i guess

I got these to help locating the grooves in my smith machine allowing a safer option for me instead of guessing where the holes are at. They're magnetic so they work perfectly and they stay in place and you can customize where you place them based off of the label.
