Good Pull Up Bar
Iโve had this installed for a couple years without any issues. Itโs not very easy to remove and replace the bar from the brackets, but easy to install and sturdy.

Love it!
Works as it should! Great permanent way to have an exercise device inside your home to do a pull up or two each time you walk through the doorway itโs in!

Great bar
Perfect for your closet door frame. Bought these for my kid. Very sturdy, even with inversion use.

Does the job well, but be careful when installing on older doorways with normal sized trim.
Sturdy, hardware fits together nicely. The brackets you screw in are wider than the trim on my doorway so I was only able to use three of the five screw holes. I used long decking screws instead of the small wood screws to hopefully provide better support. So far so good.

Basic Pull-up Bar
After years of pressing my luck using a clothes bar removed from my closet and installed in my doorway, I decided it was time to upgrade to an actual pull-up bar. I was surprised how few basic, low profile bars there were. This one fits the bill. Easy installation and sturdy. It's a nice diameter. Not a lot of grip to it, considering it's stainless steel, but I'm used to that. I may addi a grip tape later. If you're considering the other one on Amazon that's only $25 dollars, don't do it. That was my first choice and I immediately returned it.

Great for Tricep Pulldowns
I found out about the DreamGYM Doorway Pull-up Bar from a friend that I use for triceps pulldowns that's shown in the attached photo. My friend uses it for a lot of other things but I like it for the triceps pulldowns because it allows my body to move the way the joints want to and really hits the triceps better than anything I've used in the gym in 50 years.

it's the best
Previous owners left mounting brackets but took the bar. It was a bit tricky to find this brand since it is quite a unique mounting system but I am glad I did. Rock solid, fits old brackets manufactured who knows how long ago. Feels much safer than other bars that want to jump of the door jamb the second you make a wrong move.

i like it
This is the best solution I could find for a door mounted pull-up bar that wouldn't damage the door frame. It's solid and doesn't bend under my body weight (>150lbs). I feel completely safe using this. It's a bit tricky to remove the bar from the locking tabs, but if you're leaving it in place that's not a concern. Installation was easy. I replaced the included screws with #9 x 1-1/2 wood screws and used a 1/8-inch drill bit for the pilot holes. I'd strongly recommend using #9 x 1-1/2 screws if you're installing this in a wood door frame. This style of door mounted pull-up bar has been around since at least the 70s. It's much less complicated than many of the alternatives and it won't damage your door frame if you install it correctly. I'm happy with the quality; it's entirely possible this bar might outlast my house. Thanks DreamGYM. I like this product a lot.

Good pull up bar
This is a good pull up bar. Easy to fit and feels firm. I had to add a couple of pieces of timber to my doorframe because the brackets were a little wider than section of frame they need to fix to. I also added some heat shrink wrapping over the bar, the type that's made for fishing poles. It's available from Amazon and gives the bar a nicer grip.

Good quality, sturdy, fairly easy to install (for anyone with basic house repair skills)
This bar is made of solid steel and has a very good feel for pullups. Before buying, make sure the doorway width isn't shorter than the minimum length of the bar. If the doorway or walls on which it will be installed aren't very solid / stable, some extra reinforcement via additional screws/bolts (than the ones provided) might be necessary as an extra safety precaution... But for most normal frames / walls, the bolts and screws provided should be fine.

DO NOT BUY
Straight out of the box I could see that this piece of badly welded equipment made from thin, shiny piping was a piece of chrome-plated trash and dangerous when considering its intended use. As a welder myself I can't stress enough how badly put together this thing is and how badly chosen its thin piping and fixtures. DO NOT BUY this so-called DreamGYM bar; it a nightmareGYM bar and ought to be taken off the shelves. Also, to add insult to probable injury, getting my refund took many weeks and a lot of messing around.
