Wagz Smart Dog Feeder, Automatic Dog Food Dispenser with Video and Portion Control, White, Enabled with Amazon Dash Replenishment

I didn't buy this through Amazon, but through the manufacturer. Let me just say this... Do not buy it. Mine broke two weeks after purchasing it. The app used is horrendous, scheduling meals is broken (would only serve one meal, have to manually serve the second meal). Portions are not correct either. Ask for two cups of food and it dispenses 1 cup. Easily jams, lots of open areas that food can fall into. Camera does not work, supposed to take picture of dog with normal subscription and doesn't even do that. Does not give feeding history in app. Will not connect automatically if power goes out, have to start all over again. Just a horrible product. Tech service is virtually non existent, tried to contact them on 5 occasions, never responded. Needless to say sent it back and got the Petsafe wifi feeder and have no issues. Avoid this product!

The media could not be loaded.  This is such a great and very useful product! It does everything I need it to and more. I have a schedule set for it to fill the dish twice a day, morning and night. When it is running low on food it alerts me and gives me the option to automatically order more from Amazon.My dog is 7 years old and at first was a little afraid of it (he is a bit of a wimp!) but now he hears the little ring notifying that the food dish has been refilled and he happily goes to the feeder and eats his meal. It took about two or three days for him to get used to it. With life being so busy, especially for me at 37 weeks pregnant, this is especially useful. It has been tiring bending down to fill up his dish so much and soon enough I will have a lot more to deal with than just feeding the dog. I have been getting concerned about taking care of my dog when the baby arrives and if there will be a period of time where he will be alone before someone can get to him when we are at the hospital but now I am comforted that at least he will have his food.Another plus is controlling how much he eats; I always had trouble with this and he has gained a little more weight than he should have. With this, it is easier to control and monitor the amount of food he eats.The app is so easy to use and setting up the device took all of 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this to any dog or pet owner! I see myself using this for years to come.

Update: I tried to work with Wagz, but there is no way to make feeder work. No matter what fix you attempt, the feeder cannot do the most basic functions. Additionally, their support is worthless. They make promises, and then just ignore you. I would not expect this company to exist much longer.OLD: It works for 1-2 weeks; and completely stops.We have replaced THREE times. It is completely predictable that it will fail within weeks.

This feeder is absolutely amazing. It is a quality product that is well built and worth every penny! I used to scoop every single meal into my dogs bowl. Now all I have to do is set my dogs feeding schedule and let the magic work! The Wagz feeder dispenses the correct portion of food at the exact time when my dog needs it. She used have to wait for me to get home to eat her dinner, but now, she can have it even when I am not home! Another amazing feature this feeder has (which has saved me A LOT of time) is the automatic replenish feature with Amazon! The feeder senses when it is empty and can automatically order you more if you have it set up!I cannot say enough good things about this feeder. 100% would recommend to a friend!

The pendant supplied didn't work, nor would it have served a purpose it seems. The instructions for set up are poor, not much explanation of how to set it up. Food did NOT dispense when it should have according the schedule I set up. The door/lid apparently serves no function but still comes with the unit (HUH?) TECH SUPPORT is awful, non-existent. Phoned, emailed, messaged on facebook. NO help. RETURNING THIS ITEM. DO NOT BUY

I love how convenient the smart feeder has made feeding my pup and keeping tabs of how much food needs to be ordered! I schedule the food for breakfast and dinner. It’s helpful to keep my pup in his routine especially if I am running behind for any reason!I will say it is a bit noisy, but only while it dispenses so initially it frightened my dog. But he quickly got over it with some coaxing and ate from it shortly after. I love this feeder and would definitely recommend! Set up was also such breeze!

Very disappointed in the quality of this product it’s over price for what your getting. Had a lot of trouble connecting it to my WiFi. The screen freeze and would go to the next page to confirm connectivity ifter a wile it finally connected. Also when I scheduled the feeding times one my app the Wagz did not dispense the dog food. What did work was when you do it manually servings. What the point of that so I’m returning it. Don’t waste you money.

The first one that received was broken into many pieces. The secons one stopped working after one day. I emailed their support team and corresponded back and forth for days before the issue was resolved. It worked again for another week and then quit. Food gets jammed in the hopper. Also, when it is dispensed falls down the cracks on the side of the bowl. All in all do NOT waste your money!
