The publisher apparently labels this book as "hardcover," but it's not. It's a paperback book. I called Amazon when I received the book to tell them I received the wrong book, and when they sent me a new one is was exactly the same. Just keep that in mind when you are deciding whether to buy it new or used!

I'm a Physics major, and, although this is an algebra-based book, I still learned the most from this. It is the first Physics book I reach for when something needs clarification or I need to look up a formula. My book was/is in pretty bad condition when I got it. Once I got to chapter 15 I noticed I'm actually missing about 10 pages and others are falling out.

Besides a couple bends on the pages, the book was basically new. Wish the book came in a more sturdier box.

easy to read hard to get a good understanding of the concepts. then again i am not a huge physics fan and i suck at math SOOO if you need a book for class then its a good buy. i still own it

Generally good! Except that there is something sticky on the back of the book. A little bit slow but still within the estimated date. There is also a light fragrance. Very thoughtful.

This product was in good shape, and it arrived very quickly. The book was extremely helpful in my physics course. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

The book is good, I read a couple chapter, but I still hate physics. The book got to my place pretty fast. I sold it back for a very good price at school.
