Great product! I would buy them again!These are very easy to install and the fact they are battery-powered makes them all that much easier to work with.There are only two down sides that I can see. First, because the base attachment does not allow full range of motion, it's really important to buy an extender so that you can angle the cameras whichever way you wish. This is noted in many many reviews so I suspect most buyers will heed this and buy the extensions. But Blink should include a good one that has a screw-on attachment as part of the kit.Second, because the cameras attach with an easy snap or magnetically, a thief can easily just grab it pull it off and walk away. This seems a little too easy, but on the other hand I suppose a thief could take the cameras even if they were screwed in. Just saying.One other comment is that although the cameras reach my routers, one of them which is about 30 feet away, often hesitates. This is only a little annoying. But I would suggest buyers should be careful to make sure their routers are not too far away. The time it takes for a live view to come up is often as long as 20 to 30 seconds.

I use the blink cameras in our back yard to check on our dogs when we aren't home, or see what they're up to when I am home but am in my office. There is a delay but also our internet speed ranges around 7-10mbps. The motion detection also is a bit delayed. When viewing the cameras view on the app, it does take a little while to open up and then you have to click on which camera you want to view and that takes a few seconds to open up. I wouldn't recommend these as baby monitors because of the delay and the fact that there is no sound or two-way talk. I don't necessarily use it as a security device, mainly just so I can view what's going on when I'm not home. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can check on the dogs whenever I want. So for me, it works just fine and I liked the fact that I wasn't forking out a ton of money. It's a great starter camera for someone that hasn't had security cameras before without it being a huge investment.I did have an issue with the color that was coming across the screen one time and customer service was VERY helpful and fixed the problem immediately. I needed some help with the setup, and again customer service was VERY helpful.Once I figured out that I was simply reading the directions wrong, the setup was really very easy. I purchased different mounts than what was sent with the blink cameras just because of how I wanted to mount them outside, I needed more range.

This product arrived on time as indicated. It was well packaged and was undamaged. This system is so very simple to install. You need to be smart about camera placement. You'll need to play with the sensitivity to meet your needs. I set up and synched up the system using the app the first day. The next day I mounted all the cameras where I wanted them. Picture is crisp and clear. You can view and record in real-time if you'd like, but the system is designed to be triggered by motion at which time it records for a length of time set by you. I am very pleased. For the money you really can't beat it. There are better systems out there but they are much, much more expensive. I would recommend this product to anybody for home use.

It is so much better n stronger , but u have to make shur the where the ball opens up is facing the way u want , n yes u have some good pull , but I had a hard time w lining upN pushed hard as I could but it Did not break or faulter , n have to have it tight or it will fall , as in u will be looking at the grown ...But yes I recommend but I don’t know if it is waterproof after time out since they r newly out but under home reave some will be in trees , if you have a regular white camera on it obviously the camera wouldn’t be waterproof but I’m sure the hanging device is I would’ve given it a five it’s just that whole hour and then arguing w partner he dose not like to be told by anyone so that’s where I gess I messed up .. so ? -4-5⭐️ Yes n that’s good .. thank u n hope it helps ...

The base of the mount is not solid. It does not have a capped end making it so you cannot temporarily put up the mounted camera with industrial strength Velcro of strong double sided tape before placing the 3 screws into your house. I wanted to make sure I captured the intended view before permanently installing. The Blink cameras also pop off the mount pretty easily when manipulating the swivel end that needs to be turned to tighten into place.

Easy to install and adjust. Appears durable enough for outdoor use in a covered area like under a soffit or covered porch. However, the part that snaps into the back of the camera is less than adequate since it fails to firmly hold the camera in place. This allows the camera to swivel if bumped or jarred, perhaps in a strong wind. I overcame this problem with a tiny spot of silicone caulk that can be cut away when it comes time to replace the batteries. I would buy again if needed.
