BMW GTL
Great product. Advantages: smooth ride (although BMW’s already are phenomenally smooth). Less hand fatigue especially for older riders like me with a bit of arthritis in my hands. Principle advantage is eliminating wear on OEM grips. BMW grips are not cheap. BMW = Bring More Wallet! Disadvantage: heated grips are slightly less warm… SLIGHTLY. This is my 4th set. I usually get around 25,00 miles out of a set before one begins to tear. Highly recommend these grip covers.

Excellent fit on a F800ST
I was looking to preserve my already slightly worn grips (27k miles). The heaters work fine but I don't want to spend $100/grip when the rubber wears through. So to preserve them I got these covers. They seem nice so far, give the bike a feeling of a bit more heft. The trick to getting them on you need dish soap and some paper towels. Soak one of the sheets of towel in water and douse it in soap, like a lot of soap. Then drag it through the foam grip, then with the same soapy towel run it over your bar ends and grip top and bottom. At this point you probably got soap on the outside of the foam grips, which is okay. Grab your dry towel and use that to get some grip on the cover, otherwise it'll be a slippery mess trying to get it on, maybe wipe your hands down too. Wrapping the dry towel around the now mostly dry grip cover, push it real good over your bar end and existing grip.Pretty easy install, just need some good lubrication. They didn't make the new OD of the whole grip assembly as large as I thought, which is fine. I really just bought these to preserve my grips given heated grip replacement is so costly.

Triumph T120 Install
Installed on a 2020 Triumph Bonneville T120. Like many have said these are nice units. Tough material with a good feel. Long term durability will be seen but they’re meant to be sacrificial so I’m not concerned. I’m using them to preserve the OEM heated grips. They do add significant bulk and feel like the large grips I had on my Road King. Neither good nor bad, just different. That said, as others have also said, these are real SOB’s to get on, at least in this case where there is a large outer ridge on the stock grips that really complicate things. Stretching and pulling the sleeve over that is a bear. I opted for the alcohol for lube route. Soapy water may have been better. But either way that which lubes the grip also lubes the hands and that’s a problem for gripping and pulling. But a lot of wrestling got me half way on. Then compressed air was the magic. Once I got the right technique they walked right on. Even used that for the final small positioning adjustments. Next time around I’ll look for a thinner option though.

Feel Great, Easy to Install
I got these for my GY6 Scooter. After reading the various methods others used to install, I choose the dish soap option. I used Dawn and coated the inside of the grip and put a bit on the original grip, halfway on it stopped sliding and I had to roll it back and add more soap,On the second I liberally coated the grip and it slid right on allowing me to adjust the location. Within 10 minuets the new grips were on firm and perfectly located. I took a ride and the difference they make from the quite worn and very hard original grips is awesome. Someone mentioned that they had to replace them after 10k miles.. well I will probably have to replace my scooter after 5k miles so for me this is not a issue. Worth the price!

Grip Covers Work Well.
Bought these for a Ninja 300. On my first attempt to install them, I used too much dishwasher soap. They went on really easily, but after two weeks, they still slid around and came off really easily. I washed the soap off of the covers and grips, and tried again with a few drops of dishwasher soap in about a half cup of water. I spread this mixture on the grips, and the covers slid on easily. After a few days, the new mixture dried out enough that the covers are now firmly in place. They add a nice amount of cushioning and increase the diameter of the grips enough to make it more comfortable on the hands. They are a nice improvement for a great price.

BMW K1200S , Grips are worth every penny
I used the hairspray method to install and it worked. Had to take my time and pull them carefully up the grip. Product seems to be well made and I love the way they feel ! I would buy these again. Much better option than replacing the entire grip which is a PITA. Im sure they will provide support on long rides. I got the bike a few weeks ago and havent had the chance to take it on any long rides, but the stock grips were kind of worn and did not provide and cushion and support which is why I wanted something better.

These are Great Grips!
This was the cheapest "fix" I have experienced in over 25 years of riding. So far, these grips have performed perfectly!I own a BMW K1200LT that has heated grips. My grips were worn and one was twisted in a way that created a ripple that bothered me when riding. The replacement BMW grips are over $250 for the pair and are hard to install (dealer cost to install is over $100) so after looking around, I decided to try these Grab On Grips.I used a box cutter to carefully trim off the ripple from the old grips. Although a bit difficult to slip on (using hairspray), once in place they have been flawless for a few months now and appear to wear well since I ride practically every day to and from work. The heat from my original grips still comes through albeit not quite as warm as before due to the insulation from the new grips. These grips have reduced vibration noticeably but not so much that I would buy them solely for that purpose although, for $10-12 dollars, how can you go wrong?

I’ve tried other motorcycle grips, but I prefer the feel of these! Grips are a must and these are my favorites!
