Impressed, good equality, size fit, great price.
Impressed with these polo shirts from Amazon. Bought a few colors. Went with small size, I am thin and work out, seems to fit perfectly, I even washed them in hot and dried hot to keep the shape I wanted, all looks good. Great price.

Great fit, wrong color. This “Navy” is actually Royal or Cobalt Blue.
⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3 stars) I’ve bought several Amazon Essentials polos over time, both cotton and quick dry, and they are usually a great value. This one misses the mark where it counts, the color. I ordered an XL slim in “Navy,” but what showed up is clearly royal or cobalt blue. Not even close. That distinction matters. Navy is versatile and works across a wide range of situations, while royal or cobalt blue is more limited and harder to style, at least for me. To make the difference obvious, I included a comparison photo. On the left is an actual Navy Amazon Essentials quick dry polyester polo I already own. In the middle is this cotton “Navy,” which is really royal or cobalt blue. On the right is a Navy short sleeve polyester button up from another brand. Side by side, the contrast is clear. That said, the shirt fits well, true to size, and is comfortable. For reference, I am currently between a Large and XL, and the XL slim fits nicely. It looks more tailored than baggy without being tight. A Large regular would likely be just a bit too snug for me right now. I decided to keep it. At this price point, the time and effort to return it would cost more than the shirt itself. What is especially confusing is that I also have an Amazon Essentials long sleeve cotton Oxford in “Navy” that is spot on, so this feels like a consistency miss. Bottom line: Great fit and comfort, but if you are expecting a true Navy, this is not it.

I most definitely love this shirt
Definitely a casual night shirt that you can dress down or up with. It's a very comfortable fabric is a very strong. The sleeves are where they're supposed to be by me being a bigger guy. I love it. I recommend it. It's a very breathable material

Great basic polo
Even though reviews were all over the place, decided to try out this polo because of the price point. I'm picky with clothes and found the construction and fabric of this polo to be rather decent. It's a waffle cotton. Purchased L slim fit for someone 6'4 that usually buys Banana Republic in Medium Tall. The overall fit was good...just a smidge too baggy. But if you're medium build it should fit fine. The length is good, but if you're maybe 5'10 or below this will probably hit you too low (or unless that's your style, then rock it!). The lavender color was nice - not too pale or too deep. If this comes out in more fun colors *Ahem, millennial pink; mint green* in the future, I will gift them too! Oh yeah, it didn't really shrink after a wash, and structure held up pretty good, but I would take a steamer to it (it was hung dry, I don't know if it's thrown in the dryer if that will shrink it).

A basic polo; not perfect, but good enough.
I work in a casual office environment, so polos are part of my daily "uniform." I tend to be a bit picky about my clothes from a fit and feel standpoint, but I'm not obsessive. I bought one of these shirts initially as a test, and while I wouldn't call it a perfect polo, it was good enough for me to purchase three more to replace some aging Gap shirts. Fitwise, the shirts are fine. I'm 6 foot, 175 lbs with an average build, and the Medium is exactly what "fitted" shirts should be like: no loose fabric, but not skin-tight. The shoulders and sleeves fit me well, but if I was more muscular I might not be as comfortable. I would prefer if the shirts were just a tad longer, as I generally wear them untucked and being fitted they do ride up a bit when I bend over, but that's to be expected. Tucked in, the shirts are great. Style-wise there's not much to comment on. The shirts are without fillss, but are pretty indistinguishable from more expensive polos I've bought from places like the Gap. I would prefer a three-button collar, but the two button collar isn't a deal-breaker. I wasn't wowed by the color selection, but they have enough range that I was able to find a few that I can live with. I purchased a black, burgundy, hunter green, and yellow, and all but the yellow seemed to match the colors displayed in the listing. The yellow I received was a bolder yellow compared to the pale yellow pictured, but I wasn't disappointed. As far as the quality is concerned, the shirts seem to be well constructed. The stitching is complete and even. The fabric has a tight weave but is a lighter weight than the Gap shirts I own, although it is not see-through, even on the yellow. The fabric is not particularly soft, but it isn't scratchy, either. It does have a slight stretch to it (about 1-2mm/cm). The collar is well formed, but not overly stiff. At this point it's impossible to say how well it will hold up to repeated washings, although I won't be surprised the fabric softens a bit and fades slightly. Overall, the shirts are acceptable quality and fit. I don't think any of them are going to become my new favorites, but if I can get a few years out of them, then they'll be of exceptional value considering their price. Other brands may offer more style or comfort, but initially my opinion is that there is nothing about this shirt that should keep a buyer away.

When I first unboxed this Amazon Essentials Tipped Polo, my first thought was honestly surprise; for such a low price, the contrast tipping on the collar and cuffs genuinely makes it look a lot sharper and more expensive than a basic tee. My immediate pro is definitely the style and the excellent value, giving you a breathable 100% cotton pique shirt that’s tough enough to hold up to regular wear and washing without falling apart. However, the biggest snag is the fit: despite the "slim fit" label, it felt pretty boxy through the midsection and definitely ran large, so I instantly knew anyone wanting a true tailored look would have to size down at least one size. Plus, while the cotton pique is durable, it's not the softest or lightest fabric, and I did notice a couple of stray threads, which suggests the quality control isn't perfect. All in all, this polo is a fantastic wardrobe staple for the money, but if you decide to buy it, do yourself a favor and order a size smaller to avoid the dreaded boxy fit.

I purchased this polo as an experiment, to test against a more expensive and well known polo (Lacoste).. and see if the 3x price difference (AU$16 vs AU$51 - both were on black friday special) meant a x3 less quality. Now that Black Friday is over, the difference in price is much much larger.. so not comparable at all. But stay with me on the Black Friday pricing.. In a word.. it's not worth it. The difference in quality in cotton, stitching, buttons, mean that the more expensive shirt will last way longer than 3 times. You'll find yourself wearing it more often because it's softer and cooler than this cotton. Not that the Amazon Essentials is a bad product, just that it's made do a budget and it shows. Maybe as a work shirt or gardening shirt it'll be fine.. but then again, because it doesn't breath as nicely as the Lacoste, you'll find yourself not wearing it as often. Sorry Amazon. Try making a BETTER shirt, not a cheaper one. However if you ARE on an absolute budget, it's not a bad shirt.
