I’ve been using this mat daily at work for several years now and id certainly recommend it to anyone. The heat resistance is excellent. I regularly set a hot soldering iron on it without worrying about damaging the workbench underneath. The silicone material is designed to handle temperatures up to around 932°F (500°C), so it’s more than capable of protecting your work surface during electronics repair or soldering. What I really like are the screw compartments and magnetic sections. When you’re tearing down equipment, you can keep the hardware laid out in the exact order it came apart. That makes reassembly much easier and helps prevent losing small screws or mixing them up. The mat also stays put on the bench and cleans up easily, even after flux or solder residue. Just some soap and water and it looks just like new. If you do any electronics repair, soldering, or small device teardown, this is a simple tool that makes the job cleaner and more organized. I’d definitely recommend it for any electronics enthusiast.

I like this mat. The quality is there, and the magnets and the markings are spot on. The size is perfect for my needs, and the design has lots of compartments for different tools, screws, etc. It is approximately 1.6mm thick in the main work area and is well laid out for the disassembly and assembly of your projects. The mat is made of silicone and has no detectable off-gassing to me.

This is very handy for working with small parts and protects my hardwood work bench top. Yes I'm that anele.

Love it. Use it for my electronic detail work, and works great for working on my watches, with all the little screws and parts. Great feel, and love the spots to organize and store parts while I'm working. Rolls up and fits into my tool box when not in use and comes out looking like it's always stored flat. Defiantly worth every penny.

Fantastic work mat for the price. Does everything it claims to do and does it all very well. The small holes for holding tools vertically will accept many different shapes and sizes and can hold pretty much whatever tool will fit in the bottom. Fantastic heat resistance as well, I’ve had my Hakko iron on it for over 10 seconds at 850f and didn’t even begin to melt anything. My only slight complaint is the magnetic spots could be a little stronger but the rest performs so well I’ll still give it 5 stars happily.

This silicone mat is very heavy duty. It's nice and thick and I feel confident that I could leave my soldering iron on the mat and not melt it though I would not recommend doing that. I bought this to use while soldering as I was ruining an old wooden table, but now I can solder on any table and not worry about harming it. The solder also doesn't stick to the mat and is easily brushed/wiped off when you're done. The mat also has little parts compartments and screw holders that will be nice when disassembling computers and other electronics to keep track of all of those tiny screws. Overall I was surprised with just how thick and durable this mat is and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for one.

Excellent working mat for repairing electronics and soldering components. Use this mat to repair Anki's Vector and Cozmo robots. High recommended.

Used it to mod some Nintendo joycons and worked a treat. I could place small bits in different sections so they would be organised.
