It WORKS!!
NICE! We live in a little studio apartment and there is no vent for the stove/oven but we do have a window right there. We use to set the fire alarm off any time we cooked and the house would fill with smoke. I could deep fry chicken wings on the stove top with this running and the house wouldn't smell at all when I finished, it's that good! Flows a ton of air out so I'm sure it does the same in. We remove it from the window after we cook but it is nice the sides come out to fit better and the bug net thing is nice too

Comfortably Quiet
The fan is relatively quiet, no weird vibrations just spinning blades. So the quality is good and so is the appearance. It produces good airflow therefore cooling is quick. If you can operate your window, installation will be easy.

Great fan, very quiet. Works well in a regular window.
Great fan, very quiet. Works well in a regular window. Only earned 4 stars because the plug, straight in plug type, stands out from the wall about 2 inches. Would have earned 5 stars if it had a FLAT plug that hugs the wall.

So quiet. Perfect for sleeping.
On the quiet mode, this fan is so quiet you can't hear it running, so it's perfect in a bedroom when you're trying to sleep. On high, it moves a lot of air. I see people complaining that to reverse the airflow direction you have to literally remove it from the window and flip it around and put it back. Yes, it would be convenient to just have a switch, but because this fan is almost half the price of one with a reverse polarity switch, I was able to buy two for basically the same price as one with the switch. With two fans, I have one in my bedroom blowing in, and the other in my office blowing out, which refreshes the air in my upstairs much faster than a single fan would. At night, I switch the fan in my bedroom to quiet mode so I can sleep, and leave the one in my office running on high. This is so effective at keeping the upstairs of my apartment cool day and night that I have not turned on my A/C a single time since I installed the fans.

Absolutely does not work vertically, cheaply made - returning ASAP.
I am having such regrets over getting rid of my old window fan before this replacement arrived - I was lured in thinking this one might be a bit quieter and more efficient, and it had such good reviews that I figured surely it would be worth getting. First of all, I absolutely don't understand why Amazon ever allows products to have multiple variants under one listing. It makes it almost impossible to tease out who gets what; even this review asks me to rate the "remote control". This version does not have a remote control. I wonder what the real difference is between most of these models? Admittedly, with a $60 price point I wasn't expecting it to be absolutely amazing but it's SUCH cheap plastic right out of the box that it's shocking. After that, there's the part where you recognize this absolutely won't be fitting snugly into a window, vertical or horizontal. The "auto lock" vents that expand *do not* auto lock in any meaningful way - even as I was holding it horizontally after pulling out the vents, they would collapse back in on themselves. This fan specifically says it works for vertical and horizontal spaces, but there's no way it can work vertically in my window - if the "auto lock" vents can't stay in place even with no weight on them, there's no way they stay in place vertically in a window where one vent has to hold the weight of the fan, and they're not long enough so I can extend only one side. Plus, again, the auto lock doesn't work so it'd probably fall back down in no time. The original window fan I had also had a small lip on it so regardless of orientation, you could have the window lock against it to hold it firmly in place and create more of a seal. Not here. I'm actually beginning to wonder if this product was opened before it got to me, too, as I see instructions talking about "clips" for the bug net I had no intention of using, but there's only one clip on the fan and nothing else in the box for the other areas where there's clearly some intention of having clips. Cheap, cheap, cheap. And I haven't even bothered turning it on to see how well it works. Why bother when it won't even set up properly in my window? I'm returning this one and absolutely kicking myself for not keeping the original fan, even if it was noisy. This fan had such high reviews - I'm mystified by them! Not looking forward to this return, either, as this is a bulky item.

Good fan, missing parts.
Good little fan, works like it should. Reason for three stars is that it came missing the feet.

Cheap but useful
I bought this window fan as my room can get a bit hot at times to the point where its fresher outside my home than inside so I resorted to this and let me tell you its not that bad. It does what I hoped it would do and bring the fresh air inside and it has been cooling my room quite well. Where i live it gets cold at night and this beauty takes full advantage of that and cools my room a little too well to the point where I need to turn it down or off cause my room gets chilly lol. Its not the strongest fan but what do you expect at this price point but if your looking to chill your home or room a bit this will do just fine.

Effective airflow and easy window installation
This window fan provides strong airflow and helps circulate fresh air effectively. Installation was simple, and the adjustable panels fit well in standard windows. The dual fan setup allows for intake or exhaust, which is helpful depending on weather. Itโs a bit loud on the highest setting, but performance is solid overall. A good choice for improving ventilation.
